playing movies from file looks too realistic to me. apparently cinematic feel is missing. im still trying to find the correct settings and what i do not like is that there is no default settings that you can set for every file you play. it reverts back to the same settings after playing the movie. im still tinkering on the settings as the folks is currently satisfied with the default settings of the TV.

The best settings depend on your source.

For SkyCable HD, I use the General scene with Standard Motionflow and Live Color on. In General scene, the noise reduction schemes (which are on) are beneficial because the bitrate of cable TV is relatively low compared to other sources.

For blu-ray movies, I use Gaming scene with Live Color on.  This is because noise reduction and motionflow shemes are off in this scene.  Blu ray movies are already high picture quality.  Noise reduction schemes only soften and reduce the sharpness of the images, while motionflow contradicts the native 24fps framerate of the movie. I just turn Live Color on to make the colors pop and let Triluminos shine.

Sa Sony EX600 ko po may "common" settings po for all sources or inputs, baka meron din po dyan sa 904a mo.

Since KDL yung model prefix ng Bravia mo, it means na may built-in sya na Digital Tuner. If that's the case, compatible ba siya with your pay TV service? (i.e. instead of using yung Set-Top Box, pwede ba siya ikabit directly sa TV tapos auto-detect?)

puede lang po ito matry kung ang tv nya at may ISDB-T tuner, sakin kasi DVB-T ang nakalagay..useless dito sa pinas kasi yun nauna ang ni adopt ng gobyerno.

meron po bang nakatry na ng built-in tuner ng kahit anong model ?
