Must be all these Tagalized Hollywood movies - why not air them in English, then?
Or might be the exorbitant talent fees given to the likes of Derek Ramsey and Daniel Matsunaga

I'm watching Wow Meganon?! and Lokomoko High for work.

I haven't watched a lot of mainstream Pinoy TV in a long while. Especially not the comedies. But I see the brand of humor mainstream Pinoys find funny hasn't changed since the '80s and '90s. Ganun pa rin: Corny pun humor, over-explaining punchlines with healthy doses of both misogyny and homophobia.  (To their credit, wala pa naman akong nakikitang masyadong racism which was also a staple of Pinoy comedies).

Which on hindsight, shouldn't have surprised me because my parents still watch Eat Bulaga! constantly at ganun din pa rin ang humor nila. Walang pinagbago.
