I am pretty sure that pirated blu-rays here in the Philippines(Or maybe in other countries) are only DVDs. Where does he play his pirated Blu-Rays? If he plays it on DVD, then it is just a regular bootlegged DVD. Even if they burn it on a Blu-Ray disc, it cannot be played on a DVD player just like 13 years ago that we cannot play DVDs on a CD player. I remember when i was a kid, we have this stereo with CD player with 5 disc trays, we tried playing DVD but it didn't read the disc. He is just wasting his money believing that pirated Blu-Rays are real bootlegged Blu-Rays. Usual Blu-Rays here in my location costs P80 and P150 for combo/multiple movies in one disc. So nung nag upscale, kita yung mga pixels. Lalo na siguro sa 1080p TV
