From Dusk till Dawn: The Series

Director Robert Rodriguez is executive producing this TV series adaptation of his movie, which expands on the characters and storyline. From Dusk till Dawn: The Series will be aired on Rodriguez' own network, El Rey.

Synopsis:
The Gecko Brothers, notorious criminals wanted by the law, cut a swath of destruction wherever they go. Pursued by relentless Texas Rangers, they hole up in a Mexican bar, unaware that it's a haven for bloodthirsty vampires.

Cast includes D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Don Johnson, Wilmer Valderrama, Jesse Garcia, Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo, Eiza Gonzalez

premiere date: March 11, 2014

I got bored midway through the pilot and stopped.

It's almost exactly the same story as the movie, but dragged out. The first half hour covers maybe 5-6 minutes of the movie. I don't think I can stand a 10 hour version of the story that worked well as a 2 hour movie.

It's funny watching a re-telling of the movie and the lead actor aping George Clooney!

Watched the first 2 episodes of 3rd season and really lost on what had happened during the 2nd season.
