AC Ryan Playon HD

The latest version of the firmware causes it to freeze. Sometimes in the middle of a movie or when navigating the menus. It is already out of warranty. Is there an alternative firmware I can install?

I actually like my much older cinema tube to the AC Ryan.

Why don't you re install the firmware. You can download it from:

http://acryan.com/sg/acr/support

AC Ryan Play On HD is a very old model media player, I am not to sure if it will play Blue Ray RIPS, but MKVs should work fine.

I have an Play On HD and it has served me very well for many years.

Thanks Sanjay.

I already tried reinstalling several times with the same result. I went back to using an old firmware. It is OK now. I hope it stays that way.
