New Orleans now has the 8th seed after their win over the Warriors and Thunder's loss against the Spurs. AD in the playoffs!

Imagine if the Thunder misses the playoffs and they somehow end up with the #1 pick

Just imagine if the Thunder managed to lock up the Beard. They potentially could have had an MVP caliber triumvirate. What might have been.

Harden would have still been a great talent to keep for OKC, but I don't think he would have developed into the MVP-caliber player that he is right now if he had stayed there.

their last 8 straight wins, they have an average of 20+ point difference ... they even had to ease up on the pedal on the last quarter of those games ... and the victims include Golden State, Memphis, Dallas, and OKC

Westbrook probably secured the NBA scoring title w/ his 54 pt performance against the Pacers.
He also received his 16th tech of the year. Automatic suspension unless the league rescinds the call.

Congrats to the Bucks for clinching a playoff spot! They were the worst team in the league last year and they doubled their winning total by the All-Star break without any significant roster upgrades. Kidd deserves some 3rd place COTY votes. He was my pick pre- All-Star break.

As for the Pelicans, they starting to look more formidable than some of the higher seeded teams.
