^ yep. 16m is the best.

anyway, from a source:

man, im not sure I want Melo. Id rather wait for next  year's batch or 2016's FA batch.

Same here...If you want to swing for the fences why not go all out next year when Westrook or KD are available.

Melo will go to the Lakers for at lesst $20 million. Anything less than that would be irrational.  Because basically he took less money just to play for a lottery team like the one he already has in New York but he'll be paid $24 million there.  And with a very stacked West, NY pa nga has a better chance to make the p,ayoffs even with a losing record than the lakers even if LA goes 45-37. :D

From Ramona Shelbourne:

Kobe should add that he would also pay both players 4 million each out of his own salary. that would seal the deal :-X

still salty about that huge deal Kobe got >:(

Well.. LAL FO naman ang nag offer kay Kobe.. face kung anong talagang meron sa cap space nila

That's really the trend now in the NBA.  At above $14 million, Lowry is overpaid.

Mukhang binawi ni Marc J. Spears yun sinabi nyang offer kay Lowry....

Update 10:50 p.m.: Yahoo Sports reports that a previous tweet indicating a $14.5 million per year offer for Kyle Lowry is incorrect.

Received a scam text from someone posing as Raptors front office member. There is no offer on the table paying $14M.Apologize for the mistake

maybe he'll bounce back and be happier with a better #1 pick than last year. really like Irving's tight handle and crazy cross-overs since his highschool days. would love to see him flourish in godforsaken Cleveland.

*Lolo wade and dino bosh are rumorrd to be alright taking 11m and 12m per year, respectively. If so, thats a huge boost to the heat's cap.

*Thanks to D'Antoni's system last year, Jodie Meeks has been signed to a 19m/3yr deal by the Pistons. He got paid!

Jameer could be a good back up option for a lot of contenders. If Patty Mills leaves Jameer can replace him. GSW, Thunder, heck even Miami can use him for a vet minimum.

ay, ang laki nga ng nakuhang deal ni Meeks.  3-4M/yr would have been good enough for him.

He got lucky with playing time and he got bloated stats under d'antoni last season. To be fair though, he was really playing hard. I watched plenty of games and saw him play well on both ends. Yun nga lang, contract year e. Most players regress after getting signed.

Hahaha!  You and your penchant for name calling.... According to Ken Berger and David Aldridge, those figures are inaccurate.  It's too low.

....... as for Meeks, the league now is a league of overpaying for both talents and no-talents.  Everybody is overpaid if you really want to get that player.
