Kent Bazemore received interest from the Spurs today, per source. Last night, he heard from the Hawks, Celtics, Mavericks, Lakers and Suns.

I think Bazemore is fit to play under Pop system.

Hahaha!  You and your penchant for name calling.... According to Ken Berger and David Aldridge, those figures are inaccurate.  It's too low.

....... as for Meeks, the league now is a league of overpaying for both talents and no-talents.  Everybody is overpaid if you really want to get that player.

yeah i read that as well. only thing i could think of is that their agent wants a bigger slice of that pie, hence, bigger contracts for his boys. baka 14m or 15m each will do the trick. but kung ako yun, mahirap din magpay cut if you know other teams are willing to pay more especially if nasanay sa lavish lifestyle.

people cite the Spurs big 3 as an example for taking paycuts but it's not that easy. swerte nila simple lifestyle lang siguro si Tim kaya easier for him to take a paycut. but for the Heat big 3? It wont be as easy.

As for overpaid blokes, well, matagal nang uso yan. remember Rashard? Joe Johnson, etc? The trend continues

may rumor (most likely fake rumor) pa nga na shinowcase pa nila si D.Rose kay Melo sa practice facility to prove na healthy na siya. haha

that's funny for me. what's next, lakers showcasing Kobe to Melo to prove that he is healthy?haha

pero most likely fake lang yung rumor na yun. sounds cheap for the Bulls to do something like that.

The Pacers offered a five-year, $44 million contract to Stephenson, but sources said the versatile shooting guard believes he's worth much more.

well if a bum like Hibbert gets $14M a year then Lance should get more. he is the teams 2nd best player and sometimes the best player when George does his disappearing act in some nights.

why o why did the Magic spend that much on Ben Gordon? They are not into contention and giving out a washed out, no heart player 5.4M is just a waste of money and roster spot. He was paid by the Hornets just to leave.

+1 ...... This guy went all downhill as soon as he got his first big contract. Tinamad maglaro nung kumita na.

Orlando GM Hennigan might know something that the rest of the league doesn't.  :)

He bailed on the pistons, bailed on the Hornets now they are setting him up to mentor their up and coming player in Oladipo.

I think that's 4.5M.  Baka siguro may secret handshake yun Orlando w/ Charlotte na sila talaga magbabayad ng salary.  Or it could also be the team is really under the salary cap with the Afflalo trade and there is a rule sa CBA that you spend a minimum amount of salaries on your team....so why not get someone like him who can play some.

Hibbert though is overpaid.  But centers are hard to find so there really is a premium for them.  So offering Lance more than $14M is insane.  Probably $10-11 should do it.

Secret handshake, probably not ...... the NBA comes down really hard on all kinds of illegal collusions, when caught e.g. Joe Smith fiasco

Like I said, Hennigan might know something that others dont ...... he's from the SPURS school of talent evaluation - might see something in Gordon, hoping for a revival in Orlando.

yup around $10M would fit well for Lance, considering George hill is getting $8M for his subpar contribution to the pacers.

Yeah, ridiculous na i-max si Hayward. He needs to show more to deserve that. Pero last year, ampanget ng shooting nya coz Ty Corbin sucked so bad at making plays that would benefit his players.

Baka di nya matake na sixth man pa din siya kahit na nabigyan ng malaking contract sa Pistons. Sayang si Ben Gordon. Magaling talaga to nung nasa UCONN pa and kahit nung nasa Bulls na. Hope he bounces back from all those years of mediocrity.

Gordon Hayward is indeed not a max player.  Even Kyrie Irving as well imo.  But the Cavs only chance of snaring Hayward is a max offer considering he is a RFA.

At $12M per...that's actually doable for Miami.  Bagal ni Riley!  :D

reportedly descending daw contract ni Lowry e. 14m first year and until 9m sa 4th year. if totoo, definitely too high for Riley na yung 14m
