Iba nag lure ng West Coast sa mga athletes. they simply have everything there that young athletes desire....the best resto's, beaches, megabuck houses, sports car galore, outlandish lifestyle, rubbing shoulders with celebrities etc. You do all of that plus make money while playing the sport that you love. If you can have all of that while being a champion then all the better.

Now look at it from the perspective of playing in Oklahoma....... ::)  or Houston....or somwhere in the East where most of the time its freakin cold.

If Melo's decision will be influenced by his wife this dillema is over 24 hours ago hehehe

Seriously, I dont want Melo. hahaha

He needs to just say no ASAP to the Lakers so Mitch can move on to other free agents who deserve to play for the Lakers.

Me as well. for me he doesnt deserve to be the face of the franchise. If I were them I'd sit this year out, develop Randle and go all out for KD. In time maiinis sa Management yan because of their kuripot culture and maiinis din kay Westbrook yan because he might realize that he cant win with him hehehe

CBA Explicit In Not Allowing Prearranged Restructured Contracts

Bawal talaga yan. However, such violations are very hard to prove.

Pwedeng sabihing speculation lang ang mga tweet ni Wojnarowski

Pwedeng kasuhan yan pag may matinding ebidensya, katulad sa kaso ni Joe Smith...

Quote
According to J.A. Adande, then of the Los Angeles Times, the entire plan was blown open when agents Eric Fleisher and Andrew Miller parted ways. Miller retained Smith and superstar teammate Kevin Garnett in the split, which prompted a lawsuit that led to the unearthing of many documents, including those detailing the Timberwolves’ illegal agreement with Smith.

Yun under the table negotiations nga between Pat Riley and their big 3 when they joined together was never proven. Riley is a sleek ngeotiator.  Mahirap nga ma prove yan.  Riley is no amateur.

I think one of the good things that happened this off season is the hiring of Lionel Hollins for the Nets.

That's because Mitch doesn't have a clue on what direction to go.  He doesn't know whether to get a coach first or get players.  He said he will concentrate on big name FAs next year.  But is heavily putting on an effort to get one now.

Speaking of summer league, the top rookies this year played terrible.haha

Gordon, Payton, Smart and Shabust all looked lackluster today. Lalo si Gordon nakakatawa sa offense. If it is not a dunk, dont count on it to go in. Started the game with 2 airballs. Si Smart naman was really playing his role as a point guard. Most plays he was looking to pass and distribute the ball. The other plays when he decided to take a jumper? Clank!!! Haha

As for Shabust, he missed a lot of easy baskets. It was evident that he doesnt know how to finish at the rim. Missed a very open layup.

However, mukhang may isang 'rookie' na may chance mag ROY - Nerlens Noel. He was ready to ball kanina. First possession pa lang he was able to slam it na. If Noel and Embiid pan out as great players, Philly is going to be a dominant team in the future.

Agree. Noel looked good but he had a dismal showing on the boards with just 2 rebounds.

Stayed up late to watch the ORL-PHI match up too. Noel doesn't look like he's in terrific shape yet, but he looks really good. He's only credited for 1 block, but he bothered a lot of shots. Some very quick hands too.

Si Payton di man lang nakaporma. Gordon's perf went about as expected based on his college play. Devyn Marble looks like a natural. Mcdaniels hasn't been unleashed yet, but he looked decent -- blocked a couple of shots in less than 20 minutes of play. Kawawa si Pierre Jackson - torn Achilles.  :(

Lakers move into contention to sign Carmelo Anthony

Quote
The Lakers' roster is stripped of talent, and the combination of Bryant and Anthony possessing max contracts would limit the financial flexibility to upgrade the roster. Nevertheless, Anthony keeps a home in Los Angeles and the franchise's pitch has resonated with him.
