I intentionally omitted Kobe and Swaggy P kasi sila lang yung SG/SF na nakasign as of now. Kaya I said the Lakers is thin in the SG/SF spots. Baka pwede talaga si Randle if he can keep his handle tighter. He dribbles a little too high pa right now pero he definitely can shake and bake. He has a quick first step.

As for SwaggyP, I think he fits better as an off-guard rather than a wingman. Well, interchangeable naman sila ni Kobe. Jordan Clarkson naman pwede din mag SG kasi ganun yung skillset nya. Less of play-making si Clarkson.

In a highly competitive Western Conference, this can be called a ragtag team. Similar to the team they had last season. Another factor is they don't even have a coach or an established system in place yet. And it takes time to develop team chemistry and cohesiveness. I wonder how could they achieve that if most players in their roster are just on 1-year deals. No stability. Forecast? Grind it out season na naman for the Lakers. Hero ball/selfish basketball na naman ang nakikita ko. Rebuilding takes enormous amounts of shrewd decision making, persistence, patience and calculated risks.

Moving forward, Lakers must continue to scour and recruit talented young players that they can develop into a core. They need to rebuild their image as elite stars don't seem to be attracted by Hollywood anymore.

As a Lakers fan, I just look forward to the time when they are at their best again. Pana-panahon lang naman ang sports.

For now, I'll continue to root for the Spurs and OKC.

With Boozer, parang medyo competitive na rin itong line up ng Lakers.  Still not a playoff team though.  But is it enough to at least beat the Jazz for the Western Conference's worst record?  But if Love is traded to the Cavs, alam mo na sino worst record sa West.... maybe even with Wiggins.

Low expectations lang tayo bro para hindi disappointing. Malabo to get a solid player this season as they have consumed their cap space and their team is not talented enough to attract established stars. They also obviously took two steps backwards when they offered Kobe that exorbitant contract. Eh the guy is tumatanda na rin and still recovering from a serious ACL injury. Doesn't make sense if you are aiming for a championship.

While it is sad that we lost both players to other teams, they were not part of the Lakers future anymore. Si Kobe na lang yung last of the dinosaurs after Nash's contract ends. Randle and hopefully Clarkson will be our building blocks. Management just needs to be patient and so should fans like us. If we continue to suck, malay natin we might land Thon Maker in the future. haha
