ok kay kobe yan. scott was his teammate and mentor when he was a rookie.

hopefully the hiring of byron scott will pan out para naman may stability na yung team. wag naman sana magaya kay mike brown and mda.

Old school Celtics ganun din. Hardcore. Can't say the same for many of the other franchises though. Maybe sa Rockets since Olajuwon and Clyde are still hardcore Rockets guys as well as sa Spurs na merong Admiral but there's not a lot of former players na very loyal to their former teams.

Along Mourning is still very much active with the Heat org and is still very much loyal.

Like the others said, may stamp of approval ni Kobe si Scott. He mentioned it a few times already in interviews na cool lang siya with Scott as head coach.

When Scott was 35, Kobe was an 18-year old rookie. Sabi ni Scott, he remembers asking Kobe what he wants to achieve and Kobe told him that he wanted to be the best basketball player. Grabe, tagal na nun noh. hehe

Di ba yun kay MDA may approval din naman kay Kobe? He endorsed the hiring saying MDA was an "offensive genius" and that MDA was his priority and first choice as coach.

His comments were not dependent on Phil being a candidate. His approval was based on what he experienced with Team USA. He wouldn't suddenly take all of those back even if Phil was on the table as well.

In fact to quote what Kobe said...
