Good move yun, kasi it was not a pivot foot.  Pivot foot is when the other foot is shifted back and forth while pivot foot is planted.  It was actually the 1st step, although it was done while spinning.  2nd step was the left foot which was used to fade away.  Monta is just that talented.

2015 NBA All-Star voting is underway. As usual, so many deserving players in the West as starters, but can't say the same for the East.

My picks (2 backcourt, 3 frontcourt players):

East - Wall, Irving, Lebron, Bosh, Pau Gasol
West - Curry, Kobe, KD, Griffin, Anthony Davis

Are those popular votes or deserving votes?  Kobe & KD at this point don't deserve to be all stars.  The West has an abundance of deserving players and both of them would take away spots from someone else like a Klay Thompson, Lillard or even a Monta Ellis at the guards and Maybe Dirk and Duncan at the frontcourt.

^ Yup, both Kobe and KD dont deserve starting spots, for different reasons ......Boogie Cousins deserves a spot on that WEST frontline.

As for the EAST, I'd easily take guys like Lowry & Derozan, etc over Irving.

I was about to include Cousins.  But then I thought coaches will surely vote him in.  It would be easier to ignore both Dirk & Duncan I think.  Agree with both Derozan and Lowry over Irving.  Lowry should even start beside Wall.

Mostly deserving in my view, and a few of my "fan" votes, i.e., the players I WANT to see start in the all-star game, regardless of how poorly their respective teams are faring now. :)  I agree KD doesn't deserve a starter vote right now, but I'm expecting him to play at an All-Star starter level by Feb next year.

if being the leading scorer in the league makes you not deserving to be an all star then what is?

Maybe winning?

At 38-39% FG% least efficient in his career...even 9 teammates shooting a better percentage than Kobe, taking about 25 shots per game with his team sporting a 6-16 record, second to last in the West?  I think No?   :D

o sige punta tayo ng east. we all know Carmelo will be a starter even with that Knicks record. how do you justify that?

kevin love in the west and kyrie in the east in 2014. i dont see their team winning.  ;D

Pano mo naicoconnect ito bro?  Kunyari ang sinabi ko the Lakers are horrible and your retort would be..... Eh ang New York ba magaling?   ;D

Been watching NBA lately and am just in awe of Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.  Haven't seen basketball skills elevated to that level since Jordan - the guy can play jaw-droppingly well!

Curry and Thompson playing at a high level every game. And not only that, their teammates are all playing great especially Green and Barnes.

Magaling at swerte si 1st time coach Kerr.

hey Kobe that's because nobody wants to play with you lol..

Kobe Bryant calls his Lakers 'soft,' yells at his GM over lacking teammates

By Kelly Dwyer
Ball Don't Lie

Players throw temper tantrums in practice all the time. Practices often contain dressing-downs from coaches, which can raise tempers, and scrimmages can get heated. It’s a contentious atmosphere for even the most even-keeled and successful outfits.

The Los Angeles Lakers are not successful, nor are they even-keeled. They’re a poorly constructed team that many think was cobbled together in order to tank the season so as to hang onto the rights to its 2015 NBA draft pick. The problem with this set is that the Lakers still boast Kobe Bryant, the league’s highest-paid player and leading scorer. He’s in his twilight years and could retire in 19 months, and the dude wants to win now.

On Thursday, in full view of assembled media, Kobe appeared to lose his you-know-what after practice:

Mike Bresnahan        ✔ @Mike_Bresnahan
Follow
Epic trash talk between Kobe and Nick Young at practice. Young to Kobe: "Nobody in the world can guard me. Nobody!"
3:44 AM - 12 Dec 2014

@Mike_Bresnahan

Kobe extremely unhappy on the practice court. "Now I see why we've lost so many games. We're soft like Charmin!"
3:46 AM - 12 Dec 2014

@Mike_Bresnahan

Kobe yelled to Kupchak while leaving practice court: "These (expletives) aren't doing (expletive) for me." Didn't think team practiced hard.
3:49 AM - 12 Dec 2014

With media and the team’s general manager there. Yikes. Arash Markazi captured the exchange on video. Warning: The audio is not suitable for work.

Kobe Bryant loves playing the martyr nearly as much as he loves winning ballgames, so it was expected that the Kobester could ride out another tough Laker year as the league’s most worried-about player. All it takes is one 30-foot shot from Nick Young, a clang from Robert Sacre or a missed defensive rotation from Carlos Boozer for us to feel sorry for the guy. Even if he is shooting 39 percent and playing terrible defense of his own.

Bryant is just 31 points away from overtaking Michael Jordan for the third spot on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, with the Lakers set to play the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. This should be a time to celebrate his accomplishments, and instead we’re wondering about the relative worth of his teammates and whether the Lakers should lose every game on purpose.

I’d put the over/under on Kobe field goal attempts at around 50 for Friday night, and the champion Spurs will happily watch Bryant toss ‘em up.
