NBA 2014-2015 Season (REGULAR SEASON ONGOING)

I think Tyson Chandler will benefit the most. He is excellent in moving without the ball, so I'm sure there's a couple more lobs and dunks with Rondo at point. Kick outs to Dirk would be a staple as well.

"Championship or bust" trade done by the MAVS. Losing picks and decent young bigs, makes this an all-in move for them.

MAVS loading up the roster, since Nowitzki has probably only a couple of good years left ..... so better make that championship push while he's still playing at a high level.

I really like the Mavs organization's mentality, able to support Nowitzki all the way throughout his career. Now they added Rondo to boost their campaign to the finals.

Buti pa sila ganun.

Yung Celtics, (si Ainge) never added anything since 2008 banner, tsk. Pinakawalan pa loyalty awardee na si Paul Pierce (yes still sour graping). Now Rondo is gone (Hikbi...)

The top 8 teams in the West seem better than any of the teams in the East.

"That's why I'll forever stay in the East .... " - Lebron James  ;D

Seriously, this kind of East-West disparity has been around for a looooong time now ...... its about that the NBA take a very SERIOUS look into modifying the post-season format ex. Top 16 teams after the elims, regardless of conference, make it to the playoffs.

Seriously, this kind of East-West disparity has been around for a looooong time now ...... its about that the NBA take a very SERIOUS look into modifying the post-season format ex. Top 16 teams after the elims, regardless of conference, make it to the playoffs.

Apparently, some teams have already proposed changes to the playoff fornat:

Quote
Several teams have informally pitched fixes. In an email exchange last week with Grantland, Mark Cuban conjured up a temporary plan that would shift Chicago, Detroit, Indiana, and Milwaukee to the West, with the three Texas teams and New Orleans moving to the East. Robert Sarver, the Suns owner, says he brought up the idea of abolishing conferences for at least the purposes of playoff seeding at the league’s board of governors meeting in October. The wound of having the 48-win Suns miss the playoffs last season is still fresh, but Sarver vows to keep poking at the issue regardless of his team’s fate going forward.

“It needs to be looked at,” Sarver tells Grantland. “I’m getting closer to the point where I just think there needs to be a change. It is on the league’s radar screen now.”

Representatives from at least one other Western Conference team — the Thunder — have informally suggested a top-16 playoff structure over the last six months, according to several sources. Some pitches have included the wrinkle of re-seeding the playoffs after each round, league sources say.

League higher-ups understand the outcry. “We are studying the issue closely,” says Adam Silver, the NBA’s commissioner.

I agree, they want to win now ... they gave up their good future draft picks ... at the start of the season, they were regarded as the strongest in the West - until GS and Memphis went to town

super loaded na ng magagaling na PG yung west. cp3, lillard, curry, westbrook, parker and now rondo.

and i agree mas maganda yung top 16 teams pagdating ng playoffs. not top 8 in each conference.

Ang galing nga ni Lillard. In terms of production per inch (height), parang mas magaling pa rin siya yata kay Anthony Davis.

Kulang din Spurs, wala si Parker and Mvp Leonard.

Another horrible game form lolo Kobe. He needs to facilitate more. Nalampasan naman na niya si Jordan. Swaggy P is a more efficient scorer at this point.

8/30 FG and 9 Turnovers against the Kings.

Last 5 games: 33 for 113 FGs / 29.2%.

^They actively tried to trade him but nobody wanted to take on his contract w/out picks as sweeteners. I  think that the best offer they got was Landry/Thompson from the Kings way back in the offseason.
