Great game between OKC vs WAS.

Westbrook with the winning shot but it was KD's night. Btw he was greeted with cheers KD2DC ! by the Wizards crowd as he is reportedly being wooed by WAS when his contract expires 2016. Interesting.

How about a dunk exhibition contest na lang? Tipong Lebron and Blake Griffin for a show. Tapos sidelight throwback dunk exhibition by former winners Carter and Dominique hehehe. Sigurado kahit di na makatalon yan mga yan sigawan pa rin mga tao.. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud how to make the dunk contest be more interesting.

I remember that dog fight between Jordan and Wilkins. I thought that was one of the best if not the best. Also the dunk contest when Vince Carter won over Steve Francis and TMac. Grabe yun.

Actually, kaya din siguro naging boring ang slam dunk contest sa NBA kasi madami na gumagawa ngayon. Parang wala ng bago.

Seeing these n0n-NBA guys dunk made me think of another innovation : Play HORSE vs real NBA dunkers. Kung ano gawin nitong mga street ballers na ito gagayahin ng mga NBA stars. The participant gets to choose his NBA opponent. I think that's exciting and interesting.

My suggestiion for the dunk contest:
1. Elimination round: Give each player about 5 minutes to showcase different dunks
2. Don't show the judges scores until the end of the elims.
3. 2 highest scores in the elims will face in the finals. one dunk each. viewers and judges get to vote.

Congrats to the Gasol brothers!

My picks for the reserves (2 backcourt, 3 frontcourt and 2 more regardless of position):

East: Kemba Walker, Jeff Teague, Jimmy Butler, Chris Bosh, Nikola Vucevic, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose

West: Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Klay Thompson, LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMarcus Cousins, Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant

It's likely that Kobe won't be able to play due to injury, so Harden will probably replace him as a starter and another top player in the West will be added as a reserve. Meron pa bang may "Marcus" sa pangalan?

EDIT: Pati pala si LaMarcus Aldridge, injured (6-8 weeks).
