Under Armour > Nike  :D

Pero doon sa slowmo, natapakan pala ni CP3 'yung paa ni Curry kaya natumba si CP3. :)

OT: NCAA Final Four Capsule Previews (AP)

Michigan State v. Duke
Tip-Off 6:09 AM (PH time), 5 April

Michigan State Spartans

Conference: Big Ten.
Region: East. Seed: No. 7.
Key Players: Travis Trice (15.3 ppg, 5.1 apg); Denzel Valentine (14.3 ppg, 6.2 rpg); Branden Dawson (11.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg)

The Skinny: Coach Izzo has a .742 (46-16) winning percentage in NCAA Tournament action and has led the Spartans to seven Final Fours including the 2000 national championship. Izzo is 13-9 when facing a higher seed. The Spartans have 11 losses, four more than the other three teams combined. This is the third straight year one conference has had two teams in the Final Four with Wisconsin and Michigan State coming from the Big Ten. MSU lost to Duke, 81-71, on November 18.

Duke Blue Devils

Conference: Atlantic Coast.
Region: South. Seed: No. 1.
Key Players: Jahlil Okafor (17.5 ppg, 8.7 rpg); Quinn Cook (15.5 ppg, 2.7 apg); Justise Winslow (12.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg); Tyus Jones (11.6 ppg, 5.7 apg)

The Skinny: Coach Krzyzewski is making his 12th Final Four appearance, tying the legendary John Wooden. Coach K is tied with Adolph Rupp for second in titles with four. Duke is the only team in Division I with three freshmen averaging in double figures (Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones). Okafor is Duke's 16th first-team Associated Press' All-America and is the Blue Devils' second freshman in as many years, with Jabari Parker being chosen last season.

---

Kentucky v. Wisconsin
Tip-Off 8:49 AM (PH time), 5 April

Kentucky Wildcats

Conference: Southeastern.
Region: Midwest. Seed: No. 1.
Key Players: Aaron Harrison (11.0 ppg, 3.6 apg); Devin Booker (10.1 ppg); Karl-Anthony Towns (10.0 ppg, 6.6 rpg); Willie Cauley-Stein (9.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg)

The Skinny: Kentucky is the first undefeated team to reach the Final Four since UNLV in 1991. Wildcats are two wins away from becoming the first undefeated national champion since Indiana in 1976. Kentucky win over Wisconsin in last year's national semifinal came down to a big jumper by Aaron Harrison with 5.7 seconds left. Willie Cauley-Stein is the first first-team AP All-America to average less than 10 points per game.

Wisconsin Badgers

Conference: Big Ten.
Region: West. Seed: No. 1.
Key Players: Frank Kaminsky (18.7 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 2.7 apg); Sam Dekker (13.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg); Nigel Hayes (12.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg)

The Skinny: Wisconsin is 23-13 in the NCAA tournament under Bo Ryan. The Badgers have the highest free-throw percentage (76.4) of the Final Four teams. All the coaches in this year's Final Four except Ryan, who made his Final Four debut last year at age 66, have won a national championship. Duke's Mike Krzyzewski has four titles, Michigan State's Tom Izzo won it all in 2000, while John Calipari took the title with Kentucky in 2012. Kaminsky, the 7-foot senior, was a unanimous choice on The Associated Press' All-America team.

Mark Jackson picks Harden over Curry as MVP

Interesting MVP debate here. Curry and Harden are definitely the top contenders this year. If Harden continues his stellar play as the season winds down, he just might steal the award from Curry.

Sa AksyonTV, sir (or baka TV5). I think they will show the Kentucky-Wisconsin game live at 8:30AM, tapos delayed yung Duke-Michigan St. Championship game will be telecast live on Tuesday, 9AM.

i thought that the published standings of the Western Conference had an error with Portland remaining on the 4th spot while 5th and 6th placed Spurs have a better W-L record ... the commentators mentioned during the San Antonio - Denver game that Portland's worst place in the standings would be 4th because they clinched the Division title ... this ruling sucks I think, unfair to divisions with better teams

Nayare na ang Kentucky. A couple of key  bad calls going against them around the 2 minute mark.

Duke vs Wisconsin sa finals.

something for the Warriors to think about. The Spurs know how to win when they want it. I believe a lot of the Spurs losses this year is due to precautionary measures to key personnel by the organization. They have been playing this championship quest for so long that they are toying already with the regular season schedule. Finishing with the best record in a regular season doesn't mean anything to them.

Now is the time to win for them...not during November to February.

San Antonio is still the team to beat. However, this game is a no bearing game so don't let the slow performance of the Warriors fool you.

Napansin ko lang after the All Star break Klay Thompson has not been performing like how he did the first half of the regular season? Bakit kaya? Is it to give way to Steph Curry's MVP bid?

I've been following the Spurs every game this year, 4 or 5 of their losses were on OT, which they could have won easily on regulation time if not for silly mistakes or missed free throws ... Spurs also benched key players on several occasions just to rest their players, one notable game was their first against Houston in which they benched the big three and Kawhi was still out on injury at that time ... they could easily be on the no. 2 spot and very close to GS if not for those losses ... they still manage to have a very good record even with their key players missing a lot of games ... if they can have Splitter back before the playoffs, they would be a difficult team to beat on the playoffs

There was a stretch during the regular season wherein the Spurs hit a rough patch when they lost in several triple OT matches and some losses to forgetable teams.

My money is still with the Spurs despite the emergence of the Warriors young guns this year. Call me sentimental but i'd like the Spurs to win it one more time for Timmy, Manu and Pop and then they all can retire together. Let the entire NBA world wonder how it feels to win 6 titles and then retire as a Champion.

Hanep talaga maglaro si Kawhi Leonard. MVP type performance. Sayang di sya naging healthy the whole year sana candidate sya ng MVP regular season.

2. Okafor
3. Russell
4. Winslow
5. Mudiay
6. Hezonja
7. Cauley-Stein
8. S. Johnson

lamang nya sa ibang MVP candidates ay kaya nyang bantayan one-on-one yung ibang MVP candidates ... kahit si Lebron pa ... laki ng improvement nya compared to last year ... last few games sya na yung first option sa offense, pero ang maganda kasi sa San Antonio ang daming option sa offense
