Team ball is a pleasure to watch.

Spurs kind of play made me interested watching basketball again, starting with their championship loss to the Heats two years ago, now I've followed all of their games this year ... you can watch repeatedly their championship games won against the Heats last year even though the games are blowouts because it was really fun to watch - beautiful game ika nga ... another thing with the Spurs team is that the players are showing no egos, no chest thumping, etc. ... comment nga daw ng Clippers is that the Spurs are the most quiet team that they play against - only thing you can hear from them on court is defense coordination

Personally, I also do not like the hack a Jordan strategy, I feel that it also affects the rhythm of the Spurs game, but I think that it is an effective strategy - not only that Jordan misses a lot of free throws, but it messes up the Clippers psychologically, messes up Jordan's and the coach's approach to the game.

para sakin kasi its part of the game. as professional basketball players, they should be able to make those FT's if not then it's their own fault that their opponent use it as a strategy.

true. the only way to make it stop is for you to make your free throws. no one else to blame but DJ's woeful FT shooting.

Agree.... You think the sas will do that to Durant or Curry? Nope; maybe if they were blindfolded. hehehe

It's a tactic/strategic move by pop, sometimes effective, sometimes its not... But it's always boring.

Well.... the Spurs invented boring but effective basketball anyway (Duncan the pioneer) hahahahaha O0

overall i really don't think it works. it's more of a mental edge. what if the other team decides to employ it as well,

e.g. clippers vs rockets, simultaneously fouling jordan and howard. then it would surely bring the game to a halt.

^I think that happened to the Rockets-Mavs series?  Immediately after hack-a-Howard, Rockets did a hack-a-Rondo on the next inbound.  That put an end to the Mavs' strategy...  :)

Agree with those who say make your FTs. Why reward a player and his team with some kind of rule enhancement? Make your FTs. It's that simple.

Agree with those who say make your FTs. Why reward a player and his team with some kind of rule enhancement? Make your FTs. It's that simple.

Pop goes so deep into his tactics that he even went into playing the game of percentages. Now a player could miss one or 2 fts, then grab the defensive rebound, and hopefully make a basket. Not only did you prevent the opposing team from scoring, but you slowed the game to control the tempo and gave your players some rest, those might be only 1-2 minutes of rest, but in a hard fought game, that could mean a costly mental error in the end due to fatigue. We all know how rest is so crucial to the SAS success. Like I've said earlier, it could also work in favor of the opposing team, where he makes a ft, misses but grabs an offensive rebound. Missing the second FT and allowing the opponent to grab an offensive rebound immediately negates the Hack-a-whomever tactic.

^I'm guessing Love is gonna opt in now.

Memphis just eliminated Portland. I thought that the injury plagued Blazers were the easiest out in the West before the playoffs started. I expect them to have a different roster next year with Aldridge, Matthew and Lopez facing free agency. Silver lining -- at least Meyers Leonard and C.J, Mccollum played really well. They have a pretty good GM too.

3Q about to end, Milwaukee has 44 points - which is also how much Chicago is leading them at this point :P

Bring on the Cavs: Kyrie Irving v. Derrick Rose! Si Noah na bahala kay Lebron :)  Game 1 on Tuesday, 7AM PH time.
