I wonder who they will get?

Btw, i was in L.A. last week and saw Julius Randle and his girlfriend ( she was white and pretty)... shopping at The Grove mall.

Nahiya akong lumapit kasi they were sweetie-sweetie and didn't want to disturb their moment. He was buying her UGGs shoes. Hehe

@the_works, who do you think the Lakers will pick?

Steph closes out the half with a buzzer beater and puts GSW on top - 58-55

 ;) Gandang laban ito.

Yep, GF nya yun. blondie. Sayang sir dapat nagpapic ka na. :D

Anyway, I'm reading that the T'Wolves prefer Jahlil Okafor. That leaves us with Karl Towns.

No-brainer to pick a center in this draft sa top 2. We need a legit big man and either Okafor or Towns is a good choice for us. If naging top 3 tayo, i would have guessed na si Mudiay (i don't like this guy) or si Russell yung magiging choices ng Lakers.

Karl Towns though is the best for the Lakers. I just see Okafor as a very lazy guy on defense.

The top 2 prospects remind me of the Dwight Howard Draft. Mas may potential si Karl-Towns but mas accomplished si Okafor. Karl-Towns is more Dwight Howard and you guessed it.... Okafor is Emeka Okafor.  Emeka pa nga is better defensively.  At worst Jahlil Okafor might turn out to be Eddy Curry.

^Kaso nga lang Towns has a shooting touch and Okafor has none. Towns all the way para sa akin...

Per 40 stats is somewhat similar to Duncan's sophomore year except for the high foul rate.

Woo GS!

That small lineup with Dray at center is formidable. Ang galing ni Ariza for the Rockets, he's the definition of a late bloomer. Capela is a steal.

Tapos distant cousin pa ni Jahlil si Emeka. Pero mas skilled naman si Jahlil kesa Emeka. Yun nga lang, unmotivated sa defense yung bata unlike kay Towns na makikita mo magsprint talaga back to defense. I was surprised sa isang instance where he scored down low and nagfast break yung opposing team pero Towns already made it back sa defense. Si Okafor nagjajog lang. But offense-wise, polished si Okafor. Parang Jabari, pwede na agad isabak sa NBA starting day 1.

Sa Lakers, two years in a row na sa lottery. Malas lang kami bro. Dwight+Nash did not work out for the Lakers. If it did, di sana ganito Lakers. Maybe things will be different na next season. Randle+Clarkson+ #2 , #27 & #34 + cap space = could make it to the playoffs IF everything works out. Otherwise, baka sa 2016 pa ulit umangat Lakers.haha

Lakers I think is ok, pero yung Wolves and sixers parang regular na sila every year.. Good luck to your Lakers next year..

Halos pareho lang ang Lakers at Sixers in terms recent lottery appearances. The 76ers just seem to have sucked forever, pero 3 straight years pa lang sila sa lottery. It began that year when they got Bynum'd , and then there's 2 years of Hinkie rebuilding.

Ang pinasuki ng lottey ang ay Kings at Wolves. 9 staight lotteries ang Kings, and Twolves naman 9 lotteries in the past 10 years. Warriors ang pinakasuki dati.

kawawa naman new york, after that tanking they did, they only got pick #4.

Sayang, mukhang di mapupunta si Jahlil sa Knicks. Bagay sana sa triangle si Okafor, he's an elite post player w/ good passing ability. Tapos i-sign pa sana ni PhilJax si Monroe at Rondo from free agency. He could've assembled a team that would dominate the NBA in the 90's!  ;D

^ that sounds like a nice team. Rondo - Anthony - Monroe - Okafor. Kaso that front line will be the weakest in defense and sadly it will never happen.

Masiyadong halata sa pagtank e. haha

Biruin mo, D-League caliber players na lang pinalaro nila and walang effort to win. At least yung Lakers, makikitang sumusubok manalo kasi andaming close games na dapat talo sila or tambak dapat. Buti nga sa Knicks. :D Kunin na lang nila si Mudiay(overrated, IMO) since wala nang chance na makuha pa nila si Towns or Okafor.

Just put the Cavs in the Finals already. Ano pa hinihintay ng NBA? GSW vs Cavs. Book it.

Ang galing ng tank strategy ng Lakers. Jordan Hill ISOs for days!  ;D

Quote
Hill has spent most of this season loafing on defense and taking terrible shots, and Byron Scott has served as Hill’s enabling drug pusher. Hill has somehow taken 84 shots out of isolation plays this season, per Synergy. Scott calls isolations for Hill — like, actual play calls, out of timeouts, in crunch time.

Most of those plays end up like this:

Scott called another Jordan iso play in that New Orleans game even when the Pellies had Anthony Davis guarding him. Scott called two in crunch time against Brooklyn late last month, and in shocking news, Hill missed both as the game veered out of reach for the Lakers.

Want to convince fans that you’re not losing games on purpose? Stop calling isolations designed for Jordan freaking Hill to take contested 18-foot jump shots. Seriously, there is no middle ground: Scott is either a terrible coach or he’s calling plays he knows will shrink the Lakers’ odds of winning. I went to look up Hill’s isolation numbers on Synergy, but my laptop caught fire and started shrieking.

Too little, too late for the Hawks. They'll just have to pray that JR Smith does not shoot like this for the rest of the series. :)

We deserve better.

The games that I saw, (pre-all star) i thought Hill was destroying the Lakers tank machine. He actually made those mid range jumpers. He started to stink after the all-star break though. Plus Scott kept playing guys like Lin and Boozer who weren't good for the Lakers tank.
