definitely not this year! I have a feeling na di man makapasok sa playoffs lakers next season, yung record nila will be good enough IF nasa East sila. I'm sure they will make great strides this coming season.

Also, I was referring sa 20-year drought ng Celtics. So I could care less sa yearly improvements. It's championship or bust for me. So regardless if nakapasok sa playoffs or not, as long as di ka nagchampion, that's a fail for me. I'd rather suffer successive defeats if it will lead to one huge victory at the end rather than numerous small victories that never translates into anything significant (run-and-gun Suns come into mind).

If you put that Boston team in the West and that Laker team in the East, the Lakers would have a much better record and the Celtics a much worse one.

So that would be a no on getting to the playoffs then. That could possibly be true. But the_works did bring up the reason that Boston is in the east. That's why they made the playoffs.

So by the same reasoning you mentioned and if I understand it correctly, it should also follow that the Lakers are in the west. They may play in the west, but their record still is considered atrocious. It doesn't matter if they play in the west.

Yeah I get your point of view. Pero yun 20 year drought you mentioned were not all lottery years. Yun last 2 years ng Lakers were so atrocious nga, they set records in LA Lakers franchise history. Dubious records nga lang. Last year their record was the worst yata in LA franchise history. Biruin mong tinalo pa nila yun this year?

Like I said, losses/lottery - those things don't matter to me as long as at the end of it all, a championship comes out of it. Sinasabi ko lang, I have a feeling mauunahan pa ng Lakers yung Celtics na magchampion.

Kasi tingnan mo- sino meron sa Celtics? Marcus Smart? Who else? Isaiah Thomas/Sullinger/Olynyk/Zeller? Those guys won't even sniff an Eastern Conference title, IMO. Sa Lakers, we have Randle, Clarkson and whoever gets picked at #2 plus cap space in 2016. Kaya pivotal yung 2016 for the Laker's future championship aspirations. Now, I don't know the Celtics' cap space situation for 2016 but as of now, based on current personnel, I don't see them achieving much more than yearly playoffs appearances. Plus they always have to contend with Lebron's team (whichever team he is on) on a yearly basis if they reach the playoffs. So no chance there.

Sa West, there could be a major shake up depending on how the 2016 free agency goes.
