Now, is it comparable to the performance of LBJ?

syempre hindi comparable kay lbj yan! sabi nga ni lbj "im the best player in the planet" so alangan namang mahigitan ni iggy yung best player in the planet? eh di hindi na si LBJ nag best kung ganun! si LBJ pa din ang pinakamagaling..... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;Dyung nga lang iyak muna ngayon ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ano kaya teammate grade ni Lebron?  ;D ;)

Kumbaga, parang NBA 2k yan, you are controlling one player. The ball goes through the player you control majority of the time.

True. Parang si Leonard lang last year. His defense was a key part in the Spurs' championship. Bonus na lang points and other stats. Nung kabado mga young players, si Iggy yung parang makikita mong composed pa rin.

Sure, beastly stats ni Lebron but come on, that came because of his high usage rate plus he was the only star. Sino pa ba ibang gagawa? Wala. Default na siya lang. Bonus na lang if may iba. So it was relatively easy for him to achieve those stats. Kumbaga, parang NBA 2k yan, you are controlling one player. The ball goes through the player you control majority of the time. Talagang lolobo yung stats kahit di sadya. I have a hard time accepting na manggagaling yung MVP from a losing team. Yung kay Jerry West was an anomaly. Shouldn't have happened but he was outstanding in a close game 7 loss. Averaged 38ppg and had triple double in game 7. Also, first time yata nag-award ng Finals MVP nun?

You mean, kontrolado nya kung saan babagsak ang bola para ma rebound nya? So talagang stat padding lang kaya lumobo stats? I wish Curry would've done the same para sa kanya napunta MVP Finals, kaso hindi ata nya kaya.

The image of Mike Miller urging Lebron to get up (from a timeout) during the last few minutes of the game says a lot. Being their leader (and the best player in the world), I thought Lebron would fight until the end. It looked like he gave up a little too early. Good thing JR Smith made it more interesting in the end.

As for the Warriors, the x-factor was a steady veteran in Iggy. He became the leader of the young Warriors team when it mattered the most. Congrats GSW! Time to celebrate!

6'8"/high-leaper/long arms/brute strength vs GSW small ball non-rebounding team = easy rebounds. Madami din siya nakuhang rebound na pinapabayaan lang siya ng teammates nya pag nakita nilang magbabounce papunta sakanya. I did not say he was stat padding. Sinabi ko it was natural for him to have a bloated stat-line kasi wala naman talaga ibang gagawa. Wala nang ibang offensive threat plus he was doing point guard duties. High usage rate = more chance to have a better stat-line.

I watched the whole game.  Lebron was invisible.  Akala ko nagpapacing.  But hanggang natapos, he never made an impact.  But once you look at the newspaper, makikita mo naka 30pts 15rebs and 8ass naman.  Pero inconsequential and misleading yun stats.  Lebron is now 7-8 in elimination games.

hahaha! that's lame, in the 1980 finals. the Lakers lost their mvp jabaar in the finals vs Julius Irving and Dawkins, guess who led the Lakers to the championship ? none other than the rookie magic Johnson who started at center, played forward and guard. but the most the fascinating thing about is when he said "everybody talked about my 42 points but Wilkes 37 points helped us". kaya kayang sabihin ni lbj yun?

You are comparing that one game during that lakers series versus a whole series lbj had to play without irving and love. That is not even comparable. It is hard to do it for a whole series especially when teams can make adjustments for every game. If jabbar got injured at the beginning of the series patay ang lakers versus that tough sixers team. Injuries are part of the game. Ganun talaga.

Congrats to gsw.

LeBron will only divulge 'secret motivation' if Cavs win title

Lebron played insane. But mvp's arent stats alone. To the winner go the spoils.

1980 finals, Lakers lost their mvp, led by rookie magic won the championship
2016 finals, Cavs lost 2 non mvp player, led by lbj "the best player in the world"  nga nga sa championship golf

No. LOSING TEAM = NO MVP. I just added that it was natural for Lebron to get those stat-line but it doesn't mean he DESERVES the MVP just because of STATISTICS.

To those saying that the MVP should go to LeBron you need to wake up. Yes his numbers were great but the series didn't even go to 7 games and the last three games weren't even close.

You should realize also that at the time when Jerry West became the MVP while playing for the losing team was the first time that the MVP award was given. As with all things you try to do the first time, you iron out mistakes on the next. That MVP award to West may have been and probably is a fluke.
