You are comparing that one game during that lakers series versus a whole series lbj had to play without irving and love. That is not even comparable. It is hard to do it for a whole series especially when teams can make adjustments for every game. If jabbar got injured at the beginning of the series patay ang lakers versus that tough sixers team. Injuries are part of the game. Ganun talaga.

Congrats to gsw.
yun na nga injuries are part of the game, wag I dahilan yung injuries. be gracious in defeat ika nga

Way too soon to say GOAT and Lebron in the same sentence.  Malayong malalyo pa siya kay Jordan and some others.  He reminds me of Karl Malone in that he's big and uses his size to great effect. Nothing spectacular or dazzling in his skills, just effective.

Sadly for LBJ he lacks charisma, the type that enables his teammates to raise their games, as evident in these finals.  He's neither Magic nor Michael, that's for sure.

May "cheat" talaga ang 2K my player!!! hahaha  ;D

And since we're talking about 2k na din... there's this part sa game na you would need to fix your rotation para happy and healthy lahat ng players mo.

Some say that it would be a diff story kung healthy sila...

Keeping your players healthy is also part of the game. Kaya hindi dahilan yun.

Irving was a really big loss sa chances ng CAVs. Imagine the outcome if he was playing in the finals.

GSW beat the Cavs by an average of 13 pts for the 4 games that they won.

Just imagine if Irving, Love and Varejao were all healthy.  Give them an average production of, say, 6 pts per game = 18 pts per game.  The outcome would have been different.

But GSW deserves all the credit.  They played the game as a cohesive team and knew how to beat the undermanned Cavs.

Warrios got a deserved win after a 40-year drought championship. What threw me off from LBJ's recent statement was he claimed he's the best player. It maybe true based on stats but basketball is a team effort not an individual sport. To me he's worse than Mayweather claiming he's the best out there both being without charisma on their side. He's still far from MJ if he can't bring a team to three-peat championships. It's like Al Pacino's Tony in Any Given Sunday telling Cameron Diaz "you've got to earn it" referring to that NFL ring.

Can't really blame LBJ, his team was riddled with injuries and there's none stepping up big time. GSW had a deep bench too.
what?! are you talkin' to me!!!

You can read it everywhere, some LBJ haters and GSW fans even admitted na deserving sya. Kayo ata dapat gumising  ;D  ;D   ;D

No. LOSING TEAM = NO MVP. I just added that it was natural for Lebron to get those stat-line but it doesn't mean he DESERVES the MVP just because of STATISTICS.

Then ano ang basehan kung walang statistics? Ano 'yun, "lucky pick"?

That's oversimplifying things.

Love would have been a liability on defense. Kyrie playing would have let James orchestrate the offense less, and James orchestrating the offense almost exclusively was one of the things that made these Cavs as competitive as they were. And one can't say if Kyrie would have been able to do the same efficient defensive job on Curry as Dellavadova was able to do in Games 2 & 3...

I'm not saying the Cavs would still not have won. Walang makapagsasabi. But it would have been a totally different series in terms of matchups, strategies and adjustments. Hindi siya parang 1+1=2 lang.

Keeping your players healthy is also part of the game.

Goodness. Read my post. Wala akong sinabing hindi basehan statistics. Sinasabi ko, hindi yun ang ONLY basis.

Defense, consistency, composure, stats... and lastly - being on the CHAMPION TEAM.

Also, you want to compare Jerry West's performance? He averaged 38ppg and he had Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain on his team. He had two stars on his team. Parehong gumagawa yun. I read that he also suffered a hamstring injury and his leg was swolen from game 5 to game 7. Yet he was still able to put up 42pts, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in game 7.

Statistics are a part of it, but statistics are not everything. Winning counts for something. When voting for MVP, people always consider whether the team the player is on is a contender. The narrative for Russell Westbrook not being considered for MVP even though he put up godly numbers and triple doubles was because his team didn't even make the playoffs. That logic should also extend to the finals. If your team doesn't win it, you don't get FMVP.

Lebron was the best player this series. I don't know how anyone can argue against that. But the FMVP award goes to the player who is able to contribute the most to their team towards achieving their goal, and that goal is to win the title. So get iggy wid it.

Doesn't matter where the opinions come from. No ring, no MVP. Maybe if he  went all the way to a game seven with most of the games down to the wire he could've won the MVP. But as I've said, the last 3 games weren't even close. The only difference if LeBron wasn't in the games is the results would've been much worse for the Cavs.

Also, I didn't say that you were the only one saying it. I said for those who believe that LeBron should've won the MVP.

That's exactly my point, wala ngang kakampi si LeBron kagaya ni Baylor at Wilt, LBJ had to do everything for his team. There is nobody in GSW that can top the performance of LBJ in the Finals.

I accept Iggy as the Finals MVP.

One last argument lang. 8/21 fg shooting doesn't exactly equate to MVP.

Maganda pinakita ni LeBron most of the time but sad to say he still doesn't deserve being awarded the MVP with the finals having a lopsided result in favor of GSW.
