Saw a picture of Letran's bonfire. May tshirt ng San Beda and other San beda props. Thats just in poor taste, IMO. Sa 9bonfires na napuntahan ko sa San Beda, I dont remember any time na may sinunog sa San Beda na items from any of the schools that it bested. Not even from the hated Abueva-led San Sebastian team.

I read accounts too that even after the game, pinagmumura pa din players ng San Beda ng Letran crowd. I dont get the hatred even after the victory.

bawi na lang tayo chief next year.....balik mendiola uli yan...... ;D ;D ;D

i was watching the game with my cousin whose from letran and a family friend who started FROKS along with gary vergel de dios.....sabi nya after maglabasan sa fb yung bonfire.....it was done in bad taste, kung nandun daw sya pinagbabatukan nya yung mga nag organize non....at the end of the day talo ako ng isang case na san mig at half kilo na sashimi! ayos lang, bawi na lang ako nex year!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I value & respect your opinion,
But sociologically, schools play a significant part on one,s value formation, just my humble opinion.

Congrats to letran.

Love & peace to all!

I just wonder, sa mga celebrations ba na ganyan walng mga school officers? Kung meron tapos pinabayaan lang yung ganung act, it says a lot I guess.

A lot can happen in the heat of the moment e.g. winning a prime collegiate basketball championship ....... riots and looting after winning (or losing) championships happened more than a few times in other parts of the world ex. LA, Vancouver, etc.

Not to give an excuse to the jersey burning, celebrations could always be done in a boisterous yet civil manner ...... I'm glad that the OP fathers have started investigation and hopefully give out penalties or reprimands.

I agree brother. Mahirap mawala yung cursing. I am guilty of doing the same during the San Beda- PCU finals featuring a Belga-Castro team (and may Espinas pa yata). I remember I was sitting sa patron seat sa Arenata near the basket and each time na malapit si Belga, I joined the Bedan crowed at calling him "Belidiot". Pero the jeering ended right when the buzzer sounded. Wala nang yabangan or personalan.

I understand na on a high lang siguro Letran community. Hopefully it is not really out of pure hate.

Pati si Racal intense pa din after the game:

OT: PM kita brother about details ng game na yan ha if pwede ako makasama. :D

Mali talaga yung Racal, both NCAA and PBA should penalize him, but for me words are just words.. ung sa prize money from Pacquiao, I think normal na yun.. imagine kung magkano tinatangap ng mga players from bigger schools, during recruit and after winning championship..

Yep. Ateneo/Lasalle/SanBeda mas malaki pa binibigay. May narinig nga ako before kahit sa San Sebastian eh marami din bigayan for their recruits.

On top of that, may iba jan may mga gay benefactors pa. haha

Once you go black, you never go back. haha! But seriously, kawawa nga eh. If you read the complaint / facts, yung prosecutor should have dismissed it. I guess, he saw pwede pag perahan. tsk tsk tsk.

Yep. That's best case scenario. on the flip side, worst case scenario would be them at third place and FEU at 2nd place.

Kobe Paras officially joins the UCLA BRUINS ...... aside from Ray Parks, this is perhaps our best shot at having a Pinoy make it to the NBA.

http://www.uclabruins.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=30500&ATCLID=210489089

On topic, Paras signed what is known in the US NCAA as the letter-of-intent which formalizes his intent to join his chosen school ....... this is similar to the document which Jerie Pingoy signed with the FEU Senior Team, before suddenly transferring to ADMU.

This is what caused all the outrage from FEU, starting the whole mess that is the revised UAAP residency rules - recently overturned by Sen. Pia Cayetano's bill.

about kobe sana lang di ma  injure madami na akong nakitang magaling na player pero iba ang galling ni kobe, matangkad at agile and plays like an American, saan kaya sya mag shine ng husto, sa nba or european league?

Yup, may speed and hops itong si Paras ....... plus he seems to have that drive to succeed. May swagger yung bata.

He's listed at 6'-6" which means he'll be likely pegged at the SG position ....... if ever Kobe Paras makes it to the NBA, he needs to develop everything, especially ball handling & outside shooting.

Kobe Paras is part of a blockbuster recruiting class for the Bruins. They're getting:

-- Lonzo Ball, a 6'5" pg who's probably going to do a one-and-done NCAA season before moving to the NBA

-- Ike Anigbogu, a 6'10" 240 lbs enforcer with good shot blocking and rebounding

-- Jaylen Hands, another top-ranking PG, will join in 2017

-- If the Bruins also sign T.J. Leaf, a top 6'10" PF prospect, then we're looking at a possible NCAA Tournament position for UCLA very soon.

Wow, nightmare season for DLSU is over. They miss the F4 despite having a very deep roster.

They always give up leads and crumble in the end.

No biggie though, it's almost guaranteed that DLSU will win it all next year.

UST, FEU, ADMU & NU are losing their main men next season ...... DLSU will retain their core and will have Ben Mbala next year.

Haha! final four time. Hopefully, the boys in blue and white steps up and the annual FEU bench meltdown happens. If it does go our way, it's going to be UST vs. Ateneo. But i realistically think FEU is too athletic, too deep, and too well coached. FEU vs. UST finals. For FEU, the crown is for theirs to lose.

Indeed, it's FEU's to lose ....... their too talented, too deep, well coached and very confident - sometimes being very confident, isn't a bad thing, like their last game against DLSU.

Like always, UST is all heart ...... outside of their starters and Marvin Lee, they're very short on talent and very raw. Like I said, it's now or never for UST. Their main core will be graduating & it's inevitable that UST will be in UAAP hell for the foreseeable future - not unless they get lucky in their walk-in tryouts (UST doesn't play the tycoon-recruitment game).

The scary thing about both ADMU & NU is that both teams seem to be peaking at the right time of the season ....... in NU's case, they are in the same boat as last year & Alolino seems hell-bent on going out with a bang. If Alolino cuts down on his turnovers, UST better watch out.

Any team with a talent like Ravena is always dangerous ...... add the fact that they're moving the ball much better and faster the 2nd round. Who knows, Bobo Perasol might just redeem his name.  ;D

Two crucial instances contributed to Ateneo's loss, the ball awarded to FEU when it seemed Denison was the last to touch it and the non-call on Wong's drive. But as it is, those can be considered breaks of the game.
