Topic: Turntable newbie - help po mga brader

Just recently lang po ako nag-shift ng source thru turntables so I consider myself a bit dumb when it comes to this medium. Got a Pioneer PL-730 as my first almost working turntable unfortunately I'm having a hard time looking for a suitable stylus and / or cartridge replacement. I hope yung mga brader natin dito makatulong sa pag-enjoy ko sa unang turntable ko.

Sir ano yung shure stylus mo? Meron sa olx kasi cartridge kung compatible sila.

Or Audio technica types would suit your needs. Better go for new cartridge nalang, halos same price lang kasi kung stylus lang.

Ito pa, I think meron din siya username dito. Plus browse back ka sa accessories meron cary ng AT carts baka meron pa siya.

Anyways I got two additional headshells with cartridges and one stylus which were give as freebies, an Audio Technica headshell / AT105 cartridge, Unknown trio headshell / cartridge and an NOS Shure N55e stylus. Ang problema ko po is yung headshell ng Pioneer is a different mounting that is different from a 1/2 inch and a P mount.

Upon inspecting them I got some questions in my mind that pop up:

1. Would it be possible to change the straight tonearm of my Pioneer TT to an "S" tonearm?
2. If it's not possible then does cartridges are interchangable? I'm asking this because since I have two cartridges I can look for a replacement stylus.

N55e stylus is for Shure M55 Cartridge.

There is a store that you can buy M44-7 Cartridge with stylus already, brand New just bring your Headshell and pay P50.00 for mounting.
