so so finale for me. Superman was KO for the whole episode so he cannot help, then Non has an army of Kryptonians, but conveniently leaves them in "sleeping pods" before the final battle? Labo.

For a finale, I thought is was rather slow and the action was still lacking, compared to the pilot which was a lot more kickass imho.

the last two episodes had a lot of plot holes that bordered on inanity. why engage alex knowing she's kryptonite powered? supes was affected by myriad because he lived for so long with humans changing him? really, with her speed she can't save three people? at this point, the only dc show left i'd follow is flash.

I just started watching this. Pretty derivative of recent superhero series'. May "support team", secret identity already exposed to a select few. The fight choreography is a bit slow and looks rehearsed too. SO far, the best thing about the show for me is Cat Grant. A very fun character.

One of the casualties of Supergirl's move from Los Angeles to Vancouver could be Calista Flockhart; the actress who plays media mogul Cat Grant is reluctant to move to Canada for filming the show, so her role might be downgraded to recurring guest star.

Not only is Supergirl season 2 set to air on The CW this fall, but the girl of steel will be bringing along her famous cousin! The CW has officially announced that Superman will appear in Supergirl season 2.

“Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!”

I am actually hoping for Brandon Routh who is already part of the Arrowverse cast. Supes will only be appearing in the first 2, so The Atom and Supes need not meet. Just make the hairstyle different from Ray Palmer.

If Zack Snyder had allowed "Supergirl" to use Superman to begin with, Tom Welling would've signed with Greg Berlanti instead of CBS. Now it's too late. CBS won't let him do Superman for the CW.

Isn't CW a subsidiary of CBS. So it was not a hindrance. Then Welling's proposed series was not picked up by CBS. He was really free to do the show if that was the plan.

I'm just guessing that his age became an issue for the show, since The CW skews pretty young, and he's pushing 40. If the show lasts as long as Smallville did, he'd be nearly fifty in later seasons.
