need help with abensons

Hi friends

I recently bought a tv from abensons (last saturday) it was a 60 inch lb6500. I was advised to wait 5 daya as they were going to order the unit from lg. Last friday it was delivered and installed saturday

The tv had no technical issues except when i checked the power on time and found out it has been used for 2050 hours which is roughly 85 straight days

Called them to report this and was told sir since mark down price demo unit binigay. This was never told to me during purchase and the so called mark down price was 500 pesos cheaper than ansons.

I paid for a bnew tv and expect a bnew tv not a used one. I was told they will talk to the head officr tomorrow

Im calling the help of this community to point me to someone in abensons or lg to help me fix this issue im sure lg wont be thrilled to know this modus as well and abensons shouldnt be doing this to there customers since this is very misleading

Wow, this is a rip-off! I'd suggest you bring this matter to DTI and file an official complaint too...

Demand to talk to the manager. For sure, theyll replace it naman since theyre a large company. Nakakatakot lang is nagbibigay pala sila ng display unit to innocent customers. If you didnt check the used hours, you wouldnt realize that they gave you a demo unit.

Will wait for there reply tomorrow on this since eescalate daw sa head office if not ill report it to both dti and lg this is super bad practice

Agree. Dont file complaint to dti yet. Your case will be enough to put shame on abensons when you talk to the manager first.

I'm pretty sure Abensons would take care of it. My experience with them is madali sila kausap even Ansons. Like what was mentioned here. Large company naman sila. Just explain them your side and I believe its reasonable enough.

AFAIK, the store must be made clear to customer if the model he/she choose is last piece and on display. It should be agreed between that it's accepted to purchase the said unit. If nothing mentioned in your deal about this, then you should get sealed/brand new unit.

As suggested, bring this issue first at the store management but if nothing happens file your complain to authorities (DTI) for proper action against the store.

Abensons has the worst price of the appliance stores. Them and SM appliance. Ansons has the friendliest price. Kaya mag-duda kayo when you see an item in abensons that has the lowest price among all.

With this practice you would not wonder why nakakatayo sila ng mga Waltermart Malls.

magandang ay backup ka nang DTI at in case magmatigas sila then kamo sa DTI kayo magpaliwanag. you have the 2 important evidenceses na kaya wala silang lusot. akala kasi nila hindi mo malalaman ang usage. bro, good thing aware ka sa ganun otherwise naka esmayl na naman sila. akalin mong sa 500 worth nai dispose nila ang used unit? ilang units na ba ang nabenta nila sa mga walang malay? ang iba o karamihan kasi basta naka discount ayos na.

magandang makarating na rin sa kaalaman ng DTI ito kasi kung talagang magbebenta sila ng ganung ka overused na unit, hindi lang basta 500 lesser than Anson's.

almost 7 months! wala pa dyan yung walang pakundangang handling ng mga may topak na salesmen oh men...

magkano ba total discount mo? yang ganyan baka nasa 20% off na dapat yan.

Actually discount wise wala naman the usual spiel nila na 100k +++ pero if cash nasa 74995. Which is the normal price kasi ansons was offerring 75495 so talagang 500 lang pagkakaiba

Ang akin lang i paid for a bnew tv and promised a tv from lg factory i expect a bnew one din

Hmm. Sabi ng Abenson kukunin nila sa LG, di kaya LG ang nagbigay ng Demo Unit sa Abenson.

Although responsibility pa rin yun ng Abenson, but still if LG is practising such thing, as an LG (service) hater, the f%^& with them!

They called already ang they are saying i have to pay 5k since the price given to me was for clear out price. If i wasnt willing to pay it will be charged to the salesperson sabi ko i will not pay a single cent for it below cost na daw kasi price

I told them ansons is giving it to me for p500 less so how can it be below cost

Isang malaking kalokohan they will call back i threatened already to escalate to both LG and DTI on this

kawawa talaga consumer dito sa atin. pano kung hindi masyadong marunong yung nakabili e di okey na sila happy na nagbenta, tapos yung bumili mga after several months sira na. or worse is pag natapos warranty period at saka magluluko.

yung nga may warranty e puro kalokohan pa ginagawa ng mga store o service center panu kung wala na warranty. bahala na tayo sa gamit natin???

natawa ako sa i need to shell out 5k more so nahassle na ako mas mahal pa bili ko... ang pinapakausap pa sakin is yung ahente na nagbenta sinasabi sa kanya ichacharge yung 5k pag di ko bayaran.

dont get me wrong naaawa naman ako dun sa ahente pero seriously parang nagpaloko naman ako ng kakaibang level if maglabas ako ng 5k

hope someone from DTI or LG can help me out here hahahaha

try mo tawagan DTI, sila na bahala kung anung settlement pwede, pero wag ka magbigay ng 5k. baka in the end tayo pang consumer tatawanan ng mga yan

I doubt that LG has anything to do with that. Ang nanloko sa yo is the ahente.

Just go to DTI directly sa trafalgar bldg sa hv delascosta st., legaspi village.

kun pwede sa email ang usapan nyo. Padalhan mo sila ng formal complain attached yung proof of usage time. Force them to reply para meron ka proof sa paliwanag nila at di puro verbal conversation. Madali nila baguhin ang kwento. Pag ayaw, sabihin mo DTI na sila magpaliwanag.

small items pa lang ang binibili namin sa abensons since medyo mataas ang price nila compared sa ansons at western. pero grabe yung ginagawa nila sayo sir, kalokohan na sagot ng agent yung 5k na yun, if they didn't mention na demo unit yung makukuha mo before you purchaed then malinaw na panloloko yun.

to cut the story short and to take out all the hassle i told the salesperson that im willing to pay only P500 as this was the price of Ansons. He said he will take care of the 4.5k

Papadeliver nalang new unit sa bahay and COD nalang. Actually tumawag ulit asking if i can make it 1k. I said no sa abala na binigay niyo dapat di ko na nga kayo bayaran demanda ko nalang kyo kumita pa ako

I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM !!!!

Shot an email to sa Abensons management team a while ago explaining what happened di ko pa sinabi na may resolution lets see there take on it

But seriously this is super crap and i believe madaming naloko ng ganito di lang techy yung iba to check the items very well
