My take:

1)   Solid speaker wire is better than stranded speaker wire
Probably in terms of total circular area may result in higher loads pero maselan ang termination vs stranded.

2)   Bi wiring is better than not
If you agree that different wires would sound different.

3)   Tube sounds better than solid state
Preference na ito.  ;D

4)   Directional interconnects reveal sound differences when used wrongly
Haven't experimented on it so i cannot comment.

5)   Silver and nickel coated cables sound brighter than copper cables
In my experience, yes. I don't exactly know the science behind it, probably bandwidth something capability connected with the higher frequencies.

1.) REPHRASE: Stranded speaker wire is more practical to use (in terms of flexibility/ease of use) than solid speaker wire

2.) For me, it also depends on the gears used

3.) Not really. Each one has its own advantages/disadvantages, depending on your taste

4.) I don't know what to answer :)

5.) For some reason, yes. But I think it's because that the details are more revealed, that's why mukhang mas matining.

My take:
1.  It depends on application.problem ng solid wire is hirap baluktutin and prone maputol but no issue sa home.  Sa car, this is a problem at parating nababaluktot wire if you run it to te doors (opening and closing ng pinto).

2.  Bi-wire or not for me is no issue.  Its more on the choice of wire gauge and make.

3.  Tubes vs solid state.  Walang katapusang usapan yan, but personally, i find good solidstate sounded technically correct while tubes tonally correct.  Its hard to explain but for me, theres a texture of midrange that you would love on tubes.

4.  Directional interconnect.  Sabi nila meron and no harm in doing it naman.  I tried it once and end up convincing myself the sound deteriorates.  Maybe because my system is not highend to reveal the difference.

5.  Silver wires sounds brighter.  Un sabi nila and i believe it dati.  I acquired a silver wire from remington and very pleased on crisp highs.

Thanks

just the other night, three middle aged audiophiles paid me a visit..
they came to collect a line conditioner and a line pre-amp one of them asked me to do...
while testing the pre-amp, one of the guys asked me to install the line conditioner to the set-up..
i did, and just a few bars in to the music of Norah Jones, they became agitated, they liked the improvement,
another asked me to see my diy power cord with neon lamp inside...
same thing happened, they were all excited, i just kept smiling, and did not utter a word.....
they paid me, and then they all left with big smiles on their faces and were very thankful....
i was truly happy for them, after all trip nila yon eh....who am i to say no?.....:D
walang basagan ng trip.....happy sound tripping....;)

Myth or fact?

3)   Tube sounds better than solid state

myth - just as the claim that solid state sounds better than tubes...
i am a devout tube head, tubes are my passion, i live and breath tubes,
but i can not say tubes are better than solid state....
i just like tubes, period...

its all about preference. What ever suits you best and makes you smile when listening is I think the best gear every audio enthusiast like us is lucky to have. Tube and SS, I want to have both para kung ano trip gamitin pwede. solid and stranded speaker cable meron din ako parehas and use them at the same time on my SS set up speaker A+B. In this hobby we should choose what ever will make us happy. Kung saan ka masaya suportahan taka!!! hehehe.......pero most of the time temporary lang ang contentment pag nag sawa ayan na ang SARS!!! ;D....cheeers!!!

As has already been stated, it's down to personal preference & how your ears perform.
For me :- 1) I have never tried solid core but stranded is easier to work with.
              2) I think it depends on the gears but I find the sound is better with the speakers bi wired
              3) A matter of preference, it depends on the individuals ears.
              4) Never used them so can't comment.
              5) Yes copper has a slightly warmer sound.
