Pre-amp advice for quicksilver KT88 SS or tube?

hello folks. I am New to the site and tubes. I just got my hands on a pair of QSKT88's. Looking for advice of what pre-amp to get. Im open to tube or ss. Being a tube newbie, Im not looking to spend a whole lot of money on the pre-amp. also looking for speakers.

If you will be using the KT88 for a Tube Power AMP, I would recommend a Tube pre-amp.
Time to contact Juanbote for a Tube Pre-amp :)

i do not offer my amps for sale, other people do, what happens most of the time is
people go to the house and listen, if they liked it we can talk....but offer my stuff
in the market place, no....this is how people ended up owning one of my creations...

update:. ended up with audible illusions Modulus 2D pre amp to match with the QS KT88 monos

now for some speakers..

Nice choice on the Audible Illusion preamp to match your Quicksilver KT88

I have a pair of the classic Quicksilver Mono 8417s and was lucky enough to find a used custom full preamp made by master John Poscable (juanbote)

For me they make beautiful music together
