Let's hope something like that wont happen again in the near future in Cebu or even a NOT-CEBU place, so frustrating & exhausting.
My feelings also, I'm fortunate that my house is sturdy, well! except for the roof tiles, not so for many in our locallity. The undergrowth is littered with roofing sheets & cladding that has been torn off & many wooden structures have basically disappeared.
Besides my own repairs I'm also funding & assisting the rebuilds of 2 family homes scross the road from us, so for a while that'll keep me away from some serious listening, maybe some light relaxation before bed.
My thoughts are with those not as lucky as we have been, as you say, hopefully never again.
