HELP: Storage Advice
« on: Apr 29, 2015 at 03:22 AM »
Good day!

Need your opinion. Ano mas okay mag Probox ako then bili ako ng internal HDD or separate external portable HDD.

Thanks in advance.

Probox if you plan on accumulating a lot of movies. Power consumption should not be a major concern because you won't be using your setup 24/7. There won't be a significant difference in your electricity cost. The neatness and simplicity of this setup simply wins.

If you go separates imagine yourself having to connect and disconnect all those interface cables and hdd power supplies. ALso ext hdd manufacturers will change their chassis design periodically so you might end up with an unsightly mish-mash of ext. hdds.

Use the probox since nandyan na yan. Some have raiid option which makes it even better.
That awkward moment when I'm drunk and you're still ugly.

Malaking bagay yung RAID. Good price, too.
