there are two types of dvd audio. there are some that can be played on non dvd audio capable players and ones that only play on dvd audio capable players. music 1 has about 10 of the former and 2 of the latter. don't remember the titles though. these are not that popular because of the high price of the dvd-a capable players.
Let's be specific - there is only one type of DVD audio having music files in the folder Audio_TS in PCM with or without MLP lossless compression. For compatibility with other players in the folder Video_TS such disks may or may not have DD and(or) DTS sound track.
If all sound files are in Video_TS, that is not DVD audio, it is DVD video disk.
