Just a few days ago, there was this simple birthday celebration for the daughter of my friend. So my friend set up this cheap small bluetooth speaker to which he connected a a Kevler wireless mic. Karaoke tracks was via YouTube. Needless to say, we all enjoyed singing our favorite videoke songs. That setup probably didn't even breach 5k pesos for cost.

Exactly. Kailangan mag-enjoy muna. e should be happy because we are singing and having fun with relatives. Secondary lang yun maayos "tumunog". But sometimes, accept it or not, Tayo, especially dito sa group, we wanted as much as possible, maganda tumunog.

Same reason why hindi tayo contento sa 45" tv with speakers. We wanted it big. We wanted so sound to be of good quality. etc. Haha!

Tama. Sa ngayon, parang nagiging normal na to use YT for the source of videoke songs. Mas updated at mas makakarelate ka sa mga available na kanta. The songs in my  videoke console has not been updated because of YT and has been already set aside. Sound quality naman in YT is not bad. Enough para mag-enjoy kayo. I give emphasis on the MIC and Music Mixing part of the set-up. With a cheap mixer malayo na mararating ng set-up mo at mejo angat ang quality ng mic kaya mas enjoy kumanta.

sa wireless, options that we have tried
Trident SN-U90
Platinum U20
Platinum U40 - currently using

for budget, ok na yung U20. nasa 2k+.  take note that you need aa batteries. white eneloop rechargable gamit ko and goods naman.

Salamat sa advise nito. I got U40 during lazada 10.10 for less than 4k... maganda yung mic

Just recently noticed that in my Platinum U40 one wireless mic is louder than the other. Is this normal? One is the primary mic and the other back-up mic? Hopefully, someone can clarify me on this....

Did you check the volume? Both mics have different volume setting.
