ESPN reports that the Lakers are looking to acquire DeMarcus Cousins in a potential three-team trade with the Kings and the Magic.

I'm torn with this. I like Boogie. But the attitude problem? Man. Reminds me a lot of Rasheed. Talks too much trash and has a short temper.

While unproven, I'd like to see how Jahlil matures into a center-piece role for the Lakers (if they take him). I'd like to see a future core of Clarkson-Randle-Okafor.

And to add, it would not make any sense for the Kings to let go of their best player. Antagal na nilang nasa lottery. They need to make it to the Playoffs and trading for young players will not help their cause.

The Wolves are reportedly actively trying to trade Anthony Bennett. They'd be lucky to get a bag of Doritos in exchange for the kid who is now a total bust.

Really? You'd want a bust on your champion team? hehe baka lalo lang mawala confidence ni Bennett kasi sa champion team pa siya mapupunta. He wont fit in. Maybe mag D-League muna siya or mag-import sa PBA. haha Sayang lang talaga #1 pick sakanya.

I guess we won't find out until draft day if may trade nga ba or wala. Also...napaka one-sided ng trade in favor of the Lakers. They only give up the #2 pick (or maybe more picks pa) and don't lose Randle and/or Clarkson? I'd be down with that.

Cap-wise, yeah, that makes sense for the Warriors. But then again, pony up the tax money! don't be stingy. I think D.Lee still has a lot of game left in his tank...but not worth the 15million salary he is making though. hehe

Bust ba si Livingston? I thought he was playing okay and was on the rise pre-injury for the Clippers. After that, everything went downhill for him.

If draft busts usapan, the 2000 draft class has lots of those. haha Apparently, that draft class is one of the worst.

Some sources say that Cousins wants out of Sacramento and was asking management to choose between him & Coach Karl. There's mistrust between the 2, a big possibility the trade will happen. If the Lakers can pull this one off with the current offer they presented then I can surely say that Vlade is working for the Buss' and not for Ranadive

George Karl seems to be the problem. He is infamously called a snake by former players including Iguadola, JR SMITH, Melo and Ty Lawson. Cousins was actually playing at a high level both with Team USA and under Malone. Character Issues somewhat died down during those times.

Even if they fire Karl & can convince DMC to stay, there's a big gap now in confidence & trust between all parties involved. Not good for a franchise trying to start a winning culture.

I'm down with a Cousins-to-Lakers move if they can keep Randle and Clarkson. That would be great.

Man, as much as I want to believe Porzingis wont be a bust, I am super weary of Euro players that gives Chad Fraud a hard on. Seriously, first he was deeply enamored with Tskitishvili. And that guy became a bust. After that, there was Darko. And what did he say about Darko? "He wont be like Tskitishvili" and things like "he is the real deal". He was singing praises for Darko heralding him as a "can't miss" kind of talent.

And now he is saying "Porzingis wont be like Darko". Boy, I hope this doesnt bite Chad Fraud's ass again. Haha

But seriously, Porzingis passes the eye test. He is very agile and quick for a legit 7-footer. He has a nice shooting stroke and he has athleticism. This will be a case of which team he'll fit well with and which environment will he develop the most to reach his true potential.

Zinger's workout video is impressive. His shooting reminded me of Derrick Rose. He has the potential to be the next Nowitzki. But the bust potential is also strong on him since it is only a solo workout. Let us see how he does in team plays.
