hahaha  >:D

Kaya lang these guys are making their free throws in practice, it's only during the game that they miss them. It's in the head  ;)

I read before, Dwight Howard's teammate swear that in practice he makes consecutive free throws.

Before offering DeAndre Jordan max contract, eh magtry muna ng 10 free throws, kapag naka at least 7 free throws made  saka bigyan ng max.  ;D

Says at least one source close to talks on expected 3/60M deal for Brook Lopez and 4/50M deal for Thad Young: "Consider them done deals"

If true, I got no words for Billy King.

parang di sulit yung kay brook.

Sa NBA talaga, teams overpay for big men.  If you want to keep him, maybe that's his price.  There are probably several other teams willing to pay $20M to snatch him up despite his injury history.

well leonard is good but in my opinion he is not a max player. he is a product of a system. but davis? he is a bonafide superstar.

i don't think he's worth $29M per year, yet. maybe $20M. Pelicans just afraid that they'll lose him to a bigger market team in the future.

Davis became eligible to earn $29M annually because of the Derrick Rose rule in his contract.  There are certain conditions that he has to achieve to realize that $29M per annum salary.  Most likely he will accomplish them. Thus the Pelicans have no choice but to pay up whether Davis deserves it or not.

magiiba na din kasi yung salary cap by 2016-17 so players can get more money by then. tsaka pasok yung contract ni davis sa changes na yun.

Why pay for something you don't need? How many of these superstars have won their teams titles?

The pels don't need Davis? Lol The pels need him more than Davis need them. He can get a max offer from any team. These teams are businesses aside from being a basketball team. With Davis' rise in status also comes income for the team, ticket sales, tv viewership, jersey sales etc..

This is a big one if true.....

Quote
Spurs reportedly trade Tiago Splitter to Hawks

The San Antonio Spurs have traded big man Tiago Splitter to the Atlanta Hawks, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. The deal, which comes on the first day of free agency this offseason, will free up salary cap space for San Antonio as it looks to reload for next season.

After agreeing to re-sign Danny Green to a four-year, $45 million contract earlier Wednesday, the Spurs needed to move quickly to shed salary as they continue to pursue LaMarcus Aldridge, one of the top names on the market. Moving Splitter, who makes $8.5 million in 2015-16 and $8.25 million in 2016-17, was the easiest way for the team to do that.

Spurs probably wouldn't make the trade if there are no assurances/guarantees that Aldridge won't sign.

RE: MAX salaries

Brow and Kawhi are both worthy max players.

The "max salary" is often mistaken as a superstar's salary, but it's simply not true. The notion of a "maximum contract" is meant to restrict what a superstar can earn. The real "superstars" of the league have a larger market value than the current max contract scale.

Deals are getting done really fast. I'd say, Spurs fans should be celebrating now. LA is probably as a good as a lock.

Surprising to see Love sign a 5-year deal with the Cavs. Good for the Cavs though. Him and Thompson are locked for 5 years.

So far, the Spurs most impressed Aldridge, with Houston close behind Waiting on Suns word.  --Texas no tax seems to be a big thing for LMA, top two teams competing for him come from the lone star state.

Seems like he is more about winning than money right now. He is 30 and he was not impressed with Lakers on the basketball presentation side of things. I wouldnt either because they would have him run Center for a good chunk of the time with Randle set as a future PF for the Lakers. With the Spurs and Rockets, Aldridge can easily play his preferred spot.

Mababawasan ng isang powerhouse yung West pero paangat na ulit yung Thunder and on the rise yung Pelicans and Suns. It is so tough in the West. *sana umalis si Deandre sa Clippers.
