No issues with Davis. Sorry if i wasn't clear, not used to posting with a mobile device. My issue is that Leonard is reduced to a mere product of a system. That system won multiple titles. Are we not going to pay max just because the players benefited from the system? Would a Durant or melo thrive in that system? Will they still be superstars?

I don't mind teams paying ridiculous salaries to players that give them viewership or jersey sales until March. It's their money after all. But I would also understand teams like Spurs pay max for something they will need until June. It's where the real money is.

Aldridge would have been floored by the idea as if Kobe could still play at the same level he did in 2009/2010.

All jokes aside, for a Laker fan, it's just one more year of enduring that horrible contract extension and hopefully when Kobe is gone, free agents would no longer be turned off by the idea of playing for the Lakers.

For free agents who want to win NOW, Lakers isn't a very attractive destination. For those who only want to get paid...maybe. But guys like Love and Aldridge who want to win, no chance.

The only chance to nab top free agents would probably be 2016. By that time, hopefully Mitch can squeeze out 3 max player spots. If Kobe wants to play, vet minimum plus bench role na lang siya. haha!

Ikasa mo na yan, bro. haha Spurs na yan si Aldridge. Gusto lang nya marinig lahat ng teams before announcing. ***yung Lakers medjo malabo talaga chance nila to get Aldridge. Gusto kasi ni Aldridge to play with a decent Center. If mag-Lakers siya, siya magiging default Center. Mahirap makipagbakbakan sa mga true Centers na sanay sa banggaan. More of finesse kasi si Aldridge. Bagay na bagay sa Spurs. Core of Aldridge and Kawhii would be nice. Dagdag na lang ng pieces pag nagretire si Duncan/Parker/Ginobili

I dont think so. I think they had two euro stash players in the 2nd round of this recent draft.

They certainly have a lot of young talent now. Plus they also got another future pick from the kings

Unloading bad contracts yung Sactown e. They accomplished that and they now have $20M cap space. Rondo/WesMatthews/Ellis on their radar.
