Anyway, Summer League naman:
I watched the Celtics vs Sixers game (until 3rd q) - Marcus Smart sat out. Okafor played and medjo cringe worthy siya panoorin. Ambagal bumaba sa defense. He jogs back to defense and minsan di na bumababa. Pagdating sa rebounds, he doesn't fight for position. Jordan Mickey was able to bully him for position. Even during times where you would be certain that Okafor would have position, Mickey or some other big man would box him out. Plenty of times he got stripped after he thought he had the rebound.
He doesn't know how to defend the pick 'n roll. Mickey set a screen, he went with Mickey and did not even hedge on the roll man. The Sixers might want to consider playing Okafor at the PF position if Embiid makes it back to the team because I feel like he (Okafor) will be abused by opposing Centers.
As for the Celtics, well, their young players weren't really impressive. To be fair, it was a booooring game with lots of bricked shots. Low scoring affair.
