Yep, thats the one. The cavs agreed not to take him up on the team option so that they can negotiate a bigger contract and retain him, kaso he balked on his word and signed with the Jazz where he was a very effective 4 to Dwill. Sabi nga 2nd coming daw ni Stockton and Malone.

On the DJ news, it just made the off season twice as exciting kasi may controversy hehe.

Seriosuly, there are unwritten rules of conduct and fair play ....... the CLIPS should no longer pursue DJ since he had already committed to the MAVS.

Should DJ go back to the CLIPS, I'm very sure that Mark Cuban's reaction will be priceless !

according to the news reports, it was Jordan who contacted Doc Rivers about his hesitation ... I think that's what makes it fair play

^ I guess the fact that he's hesitating is bad news for the Mavs. Reports so far say that the Clips are "on the cusp" of retaining Jordan, although I think Mark Cuban is still trying to meet with him after the Clips. I'm betting that he will stay with the Clips.

Looks like it's tanking time for the Mavs if they won't get Deandre. Dirk takes pay cut to accommodate other free agents but looks like it's only Wes Matthews for them now.

I am of the impression that a verbal agreement is legally binding. But if Cuban is not going to contest it, then no legal action can follow. Sana pala niresign na lang nila si Chandler.

Dapat nga yata there must be something in writing kahit verbal agreement pa lang. Doesn't necessarily have to be a contract. Parang yun minutes of meeting. Or iklian yun free agent moratorium. This is ridiculous.
