Wasnt the carlos boozer incident also a precedent? I dont think the nba will change a thing. Nahype lang kasi may social media na now yng kay DJ

Yes precedent siya. But yun safeguards to that happening again ay nasa kamay ng team management. Wala nang GM ang nagrerescind ng last year ng contracts. So on that part, natigil yun. In this case kasi, not only is Jordan an UFA, hindi Dallas ang current team niya.

Ang Clippers talaga favorite nila ang villain role, as if hindi pa sila hated enough even with their success. This will go bad for them and it doesn't even guarantee a championship. Spurs & Warriors are still the teams to beat in the West.

Just when you think Spurs can't get better, they added youth in Ray McCallum.

This kid can play and with proper guidance, he can be better.

Parker/Mills/McCallum
Green/Ginobili
Leonard/Anderson
Aldridge/West/Diaw
Duncan/Lalanne

And Livio Jeane-Charles is playing okay in the Summer League so far. Life is not fair. haha

i hope the clippers get a 1st round exit! what a dick move by deandre. im not even a mavs fan. but what he did is just rude and unprofessional.

nagpakalalake sana sya at sinabi straight up to cuban that he will not sign anymore, days before the deadline! instead the mavs is now stuck because of what he did.

Well, at least parang nabunutan ng tinik si Deandre on re-signing with his old and only team. Malamang di sya makatulog nung sinabi nya na mag sign sya sa Mavs. Iba pa rin yung triangulate nila ni Griffin and Paul. Young and clearly a championship contender team.

Pag sa mavs kse sya lumang team na plus Dirk is slowing down already.

Kinain na lang nya pride nya at inamin nya LA Clippers pa rin pala ang gusto nya. Good for him actually.

Dapat hindi na siya nakipag verbal agreement though. There were plans to trade for Hibbert as a back up plan ng Mavs. Binitawan na yun kasi may commitment na sila supposedly with Jordan.

while teams and players can't officially commit during the moratorium period, the stakeholders must be able to trust what the other says because of the enormous implications otherwise.

the Mavs wouldn't have offered Wes Matthews a contract if DJ didn't commit to them. they wouldn't have backed off the Pacers deal, which would have meant that the Lakers had to look elsewhere for frontcourt help. what if Marc Gasol suddenly says, sorry Grizzlies, I'll move to Dallas?

maybe a really short moratorium period next season?

Ya but you don't agree with a team and just back out. For me maging professional lang. His decision made cuban comfortable. Cuban could have made other moves like trading for hibbert if he knew he cant land jordan. Who knows what moves he will do. Actually i don't like cuban and parsons, pero sama talaga gawa ni jordan.

Pacers and Lakers haven't made the deal official yet. If Bird follows DJ's lead, he could spurn the Lakers and go back to Cuban and ship Hibbert to the Mavs.

this is being discussed earlier, Cuban can actually start contacting other centers (Hibbert, Lopez, etc.) since deals are not yet formally sign ... he has the money to offer more at this time

for me he just changed his mind. since wala pa naman contract then it should be ok. sa tingin ko kasi naging relax na yung mga teams sa ganyan setup kaya nagkagulatan.

Changing your mind is understandable. Kaso nga lang it carries a far greater importance than just backing out. Mavs could have traded for Hibbert nga as a back up plan. Kaso once he agreed, Mavs had to inform the Pacers they were no longer interested. Dallas never would have risked signing Wes Matthews for such an amount to a probably futile season. Specially coming off an Achilles injury. Then Matthews could have accepted the Kings' offer instead which was about $4 million richer per annum. He sacrificed the additional $4M because Jordan was going to Dallas.

Definitely DeAndre started something....next year iba na ang atmosphere ng moratorium. Sulutan na ng players.

IIRC, na ganyan na rin clippers dati kay Elton Brand. Davis agreed to him to move to clippers then biglang lipat naman sa ibang team si Brand.
