Stephen Curry bound for Manila for promo tour

MANILA, Philippines – The National Basketball Association's best player is coming to town.

League Most Valuable Player and newly-minted World Champion Wardell Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is visiting Manila on September 5 as part of a five-day promotional tour for a sporting apparel.

“Together with Under Armour, I’m looking forward to sharing my energy and commitment to basketball with the fans and basketball players in Asia who will leave their mark on the game,” Curry said in a statement made official today.

The two-time NBA All-Star is making Philippines his second in a myriad stops that include thre Chinese cities. His first is Tokyo, Japan.

China and the Philippines have a rich cultural connection to basketball ... This will be an unforgettable experience and we have some special things planned for some of the best basketball fans in the world,” he added.

Dapat sa Dallas agad yung Clippers vs Mavs. Haha baka ni na makauwi si Deandre.

Lakers 2nd worst in the West pero 19 nationally televised games. Si Drummond di masaya na wala sila nationally televised games.

Kobe is still a huge draw both in the US and globally. For real fans, they would probably not enjoy watching laker games until they see the team as competitive. For the casual fan though, just seeing Kobe play, regardless if his team has a fighting chance is already an enjoyable thing.

I'm surprised that the Pistons have zero national tv appearances. They are a big market team right? I think they are also heading the right direction and might even make the playoffs in the east. Letting go Monroe shouldn't affect them that much because they posted an above 50% record without him in the lineup.

Nice to see the Pelicans have more nationally-televised games than some of the traditionally popular/big market teams. Definitely a team on the rise. Looks like Anthony Davis has also bulked up during the off-season.

yup, they just auto-debited it to my account ... but I'm good with it, as I mean to watch all the San Antonio Spurs game this year

and compared to US, it's way much cheaper ... and even here in the Philippines there's around 2k+ savings compared to new subscribers

Hi guys, I was just gonna ask here regarding this. Thanks sa info. Kasi i got the installment plan, 539.99 a month. I want to test it out kasi muna how it is. I got it in january 2015 ata and up to now they are charging me. How much ba is a season and spread to how many months? Is this a 12 month charge? Or just the nba season which is oct to june which is around 9 months? So if i buy the plan in jan 2015 diba dapat i get charged for only 6 months? Kasi june ang end of season diba? Thanks

1 beses lang ako na charge 4809.42 that's good for 1 season. parang 5k+ yun last season. 2 years ago sa playoffs lang ako nag subscribe it think that was +/- 2k

Ok thanks for the info sir. I will go back and check my email muna. I think nga they charge for the remaining period. So if a season cost 5 thou. And you apply in jan, they will deduct the october to december cost.

In my case they started charging 539.99 monthly since feb 2015. Until now they are charging me this. Kaya i wanna know sana what month did they charge me for the new year. If i take your new rate 4,809.42 and divide by 539.99 it comes out to 8.906. So approximately nga 9 months ang charge nila. Bad trip i should have pail in full. Ang hirap yun installment. Hindi ko kasi alam na auto renew. I just wanna try it out and see how it is. Pero im very happy naman with it. I get to watch all rockets game.
