Is this about the 132(GSW) vs 84(CLE) game at Cleveland's home court?

question, may player dati yung trailblazers yata yun na nakapa galling and this is just recently mga two or three years ago yata pero nawala na lang bigla because of injury, sino nga ba yun?

in my opinion, he would've a better chance if he stayed with the Heats, that team has championship caliber players and a very good coach

They are still a good team now. Injuries has not been kind to them though and affected their Chemistry. I still see them in the Finals. I could not say the same for GSW the way the Spurs are slowly but surely playing to their potential.

^^ The Heat would've been a very different team had LBJ stayed. Walang Dragic, Deng, Winslow etc.... Baka pati si Whiteside at Johnson hindi nadiscover. It would have been a capped out team with an aging big 3, a roster filled out with minimum vets and probably Mcbob for the MLE. Cleveland's situation was much more flexible.

Well i'm not surprised. They are the same franchise that chose Sam Bowie over a guy named MJ. What a world of difference that could have been for this franchise.

Oden was a dominant big and no one could have faulted the BLAZERS for drafting him over Durant - but injuries changed all of that ...... two decades earlier, they had a great SG in Drexler, so they drafted Bowie instead of Jordan - who turned out to be the GOAT.

Not unless, there's a transcendent talent ex. Lebron, Shaq & Duncan, the NBA draft will always be a hit-and-miss affair for most teams.

Kaya nga masarap panoorin ang NBA, aside from the high level of basketball we get, these things like the draft, trades, salary management, etc which are all very dynamic and resulting in winners and losers ....... if everything falls into place for every team, then that would be very boring.

I believe nasa GM din yan and scouting team...some really have the feel for talent. Jerry West for example. They had Eddie Jones who was an All Star and they traded for Kobe.

had they drafted MJ they would have had the ff line up: Duckworth, Kersey, Porter, MJ, Buck Williams. off the bench pa si Petrovic. That's a killer line up. They could have traded Clyde for another impact player or for several players to bolster the bench

^ But, without Bowie they would not have gotten Buck Williams ....... the team also got Terry Porter at a very low draft slot. With Drexler as their leader, they got themselves a legitimate championship window for a few years - got themselves at 2 NBA Finals series.

Like I said, hindsight is always 100% right ...... everyone knew that MJ was a good player, but absolutely no one knew that he would be the GOAT.

Yup, may mga ilang GM's na angat sa iba, like Buford, West, etc ....... though iba iba lang ang degree of difficulty - West had the allure of Holywood & deep pockets for his teams ....... some GM's dont have that same luxury and have to draft, trade and spend wisely.

Meanwhile, the Rockets apparently sent in KJ Mcdaniels in the beginning of the 3rd to foul Drummond 5x in 9 seconds! extreme hack-a!!!

Thabeet is among the biggest busts ever ...... right there with Bennet, Darko, etc.

Like I said, not unless the draft class has a Lebron, Duncan, Shaq, etc, then the NBA draft is a hit-or-miss affair ...... some picks may turn gold, while most will be journeymen.

If you have Drummond as a fantasy player, I guess there's no way you're going to win the FT% category this week in H2H (or this season in all likelihood)

He missed 23 out of the 36 FTAs - also an NBA record. I guess mental/psychological na rin ang problema to some extent.

i think shooting free throws is mostly mental. tom amberry was in his 70s when he shot a then record of 2750 consecutive free throws in 1993. he had to stop because the gym had to close. the record has since been broken by ted st martin who converted 5221 consecutive free throws in 1996. don't have much info about st martin, but i'm guessing he set the new record as a senior citizen as the first free throw record he set was in 1975.

It's both mental and shooting mechanics ...... sadyang mahihirapan din talaga ang mga very big men, since parang prutas na lang ang hawak nila sa basketball.

I like Drummond's response when he was interviewed about his 23/36 FT record ....... he said, they won the game and that's all that mattered to him. Nice answer.

everybody was booing NY when Porzingis was chosen, the rest is history so they say.

Yes it was Vlade who was traded for Kobe. What I meant was that they already had an All star caliber player in Jones then they still traded for Kobe who played the same position. West saw something in the guy probably.
