March 19 GSW @ SAS
April 7     SAS @ GSW
April 10   GSW @ SAS

Hope those two April games in the final week of the regular season will still have a bearing. Baka ipapahinga na 'yung mga key players by then.

Blake Griffin out 4-6 weeks with broken hand. Broke his hand after an altercation with their equipment manager.  :o

What a boneheaded move by Griffin. Fighting with an equipment manager and actually punching the guy?

Quote
@michaeleaves:

The altercation started in a restaurant. It proceeded outside where Griffin hit the equipment staffer multiple times.

 :o

Im not surprised though na pumatol siya sa equipment manager.

Miami Heat Minority Owner Says LeBron James Wanted Erik Spoelstra Fired

Quote
On why James left Miami for Cleveland:

"With the Miami Heat, LeBron James—before and after his four seasons when his contract was up with the team—made it clear that he wanted to dump head coach Erik Spoelstra. At one point, [Heat president] Pat Riley called LeBron into his office said that no one will tell him how to run the organization. Riley told James that Spoelstra is his guy and that firing Spoelstra is out of the question. That was the main reason LeBron returned to Cleveland."

Only the likes of a Pat Riley stature that Lebron James will follow... The previous coaches lahat binully nya. Eto si Ty Lue, yari to sa sermon kay Lebron.

Apparently not. EVEN against Pat Riley, LeBron still wants to bully his way. But only a person like Pat Riley knows how to put LeBron in his place in the team.

And only a b*tch-@ss team like the Cavs will bend over the second time and get screwed again by LeBron.

And some people wonder why lebron receives a lot of animosity given his talents and accomplishments? isn't it that obvious?

I used to try to defend (!) lebron from haters. But what he did with Blatt gives everyone a whole ass load of ammunition.  ;D

I wouldn't read too much into that loss.  Pop is a really smart guy.  Maybe he just wants GS to be confident and become so full of themselves and complacent, an we will see the real Spurs in the WCF.  Remember the finals game in San Antonio when the A/C was out? That is pure genius! Or maybe the a/c was really broken hehe.

But I have to say that Curry is really shooting the lights out.

^ Agree. In a 7 game series, I'm sure results would be much closer, maybe different. I would even dare to chalk this win up as an aberration. But yeah, SC is one helluva beast.

Cavaliers' Lue, staff to coach 2016 East All-Stars -

This is so unfair to former coach David Blatt, Dwane Casey, Luke Walton, to all NBA coaches, to the NBA All Star Players, NBA League and to all us NBA fans!

Why do people insist that Kawhi is a Lebron stopper? The numbers don't support it.

LBJ scored above his average, and his FG% was above his average, whether we're talking this season or in the Finals when SAS beat MIA and Leonard became MVP.

Sure, Kawhi is a really really good player, but maybe this is just another hating' thing.

Leonard's effect on Lebron is on Lebron taking fewer shots when Leonard is guarding him.  Here's an article showing just that.

^That article presents an incomplete picture (first 3 games only). For that whole Finals series, Bron averaged 18.2 FGA, higher than his season average of 17.0 and playoff average of 17.6. Over the last two years Bron has averaged 17.8 FGA, just slightly less than his 18.5 FGA average, which hardly amounts to shooting less.

That sample size highlights the trend how Kawhi affects Lebron defensively.  It's either Kawhi  prevents Lebron from receiving the ball or prevents Lebron from making an attempt.

This last game Lebron took 17 attempts.  His average for the season is 19FGA.

^I already cited the entire population of games, bro, not just the one-game or three-game samples you cite, and the numbers hardly support the notion.

Plus, he still scored 29 points on those 17 shots. What isn't often written about, if at all, is that SAS actually guards LeBron with a two-man staggered team of Leonard and Duncan, allowing Leonard to gamble more because Duncan covers his back. Still, as the overall numbers show, it could hardly be said that they "stop" Bron.

Just trying to disabuse another of those conventional basketball wisdoms beloved of the mainstream press and fans, one which is simply not true.

Alam ko meron na rin nagtanong dito, not sure kung nasagot na? Anyway, interested to know kung pwede ngang mapanuod NBA games/league pass via Chromecast device to flat screen tv.

Nice to see Kobe have a game like this in his final season (38/5/5 with 7 treys, 11 FTs and 2 steals), coupled with a Laker win. Bihira mangyari pareho eh.  :)

OKC at GSW pala on Sunday (PH time). First time for these teams to meet this season. Bookmarked again.
