Matagal na din "lax" ang NBA sa mga moving screens, hindi lang nitong emergence nang GSW.

Nowadays, it seems like the only illegal screen violations they call are the obvious chicken-wing/extended elbow and the hip checks of screeners.

I personally don't have an issue with it ...... screening-out and box-outs are inherently physical, may halong gulangan to a certain extent - and should be so.

Kung pinapayagan na walang tawag sa mga moving sreeners, dapat payagan na din na banggain ng humahabol na bantay yung moving sreeners, eh kaso pag binangga nila, sila ang tatawagan ng foul. 'Yung moving screeners lang naman, pero kung legal screen okey lang.

Matagal nang part of the pro game ang "magugulang" na moving screens ....... watch any PBA game that has a team playing Tim Cone's triangle-offense (ALASKA, GINEBRA & STAR) - sangkatutak na gulang screens ang makikita mo ...... the triangle can hide screens, make it appear as if its normal player movement.

Crucial din kasi ang severity of the contact between defender and screener ...... kapag simpleng banggaan, usually let-go situation na yan sa pro basketball.

Like I said, the NBA has put emphasis on fast-paced game and more action. Even if the screener has established his space, ang nakikita ko na lang na illegal screens ay yung mga hip and elbow checks ..... ito kasi ang mga illegal screens kung saan tumitilapon or off-balanced ang defenders gawa ng contact.
