And just like that, a close and exciting game is blown wide open with 6 min remaining. This time it's the bench stepping up. What a team golden state has this season

GSW's 2nd team won this one. Curry was somewhat off - just 33 pts. ;).  Westbrook was really off.

The Celtics has a lot of potential and have assets and cap room to land a big name if they choose that route. They will not make a lot of noise in the playoffs this year but they were not even projected to in this year. I'll give them another 2 years.

Hindi natin masasabi baka masorpresa tayo lahat pagdating ng playoffs.

They might surprise a team in the 1st round. But i dont see them getting past the 2nd. They have the talent but they lack the experience. ilan lang sa players nila may experience sa playoffs. And in a 7 game series experience plays a major part in making adjustments.

Currently being the 3rd seed, I don't think it would be a surprise should they win against the Hornets.  And if they meet the Raptors in the 2nd round, Toronto might have the edge.  But the margin of victory in their 2 previous meetings isn't that lopsided.

I just don't see the Celtics getting past the 2nd round. They will have to face Cavs, Raptors, Heat or the Hawks

also a nice win from the Spurs against NOLA ... Go!Spurs!Go!

One of the Spurs problem last year and in some of their losses this year was winning those close games ... they just had 2 or 3 of that in this latest win streak, it's a good indication prior to the playoffs

I just don't see the Celtics getting past the 2nd round. They will have to face Cavs, Raptors, Heat or the Hawks

Based on the curent standings, Boston should defeat Charlotte in the first round.  The Celtics don't actually meet the Cavs, Heat or Hawks in the first two rounds but in the conference finals should the current standings hold.  Second round opponent would either be the Raptors or the Pacers.  Raptors should be the favorites.  But the Raptors during the last two seasons have collapsed in the first round even losing to the Nets.

That's why the 3rd seed is very important.  It almost guarantees that you won't face the Cavs, Heat and Hawks in the first 2 rounds.  Take for example that Miami faces the Hawks in the first round.  Tanggal kagad isa dyan even without having to defeat both. Then the Cavs will probably defeat either the Heat or the Hawks.  So tanggal na naman yun isa pa. So getting to the Eastern conference finals is a Raptor roadblock away.

Sayang, if MKG were in the line-up, the CELTICS will have their hands full with the HORNETS ...... actually, the HORNETS would undoubtedly have a better record with a healthy MKG.

The RAPTORS looking more matured this year albeit it's still the elims ...... ika nga, malapit na mahinog with a nice collection of emerging talent - even Biyombo is being utilized.  ;D

May diskarte talaga mag-buo nang team itong si Masai Ujiri.

^Di masyadong na-miss ng CHA si Al Jeff.

Ujiri added a lot of plus defenders to their fold (Biyombo, Joseph, Carroll) in the offseason. They definitely have a better chance of going deep in the playoffs this year especially if Lowry remains healthy.

Seeds 5-10 in the east are separated by only 2.5 games. Andami pang pwedeng magbago in terms of playoff matchups. Interestingly, if the playoffs started today di makakasama ang Bulls.

IMO Hubie Brown is really the best NBA TV analyst out there. No frills, just expert and insightful commentary. JVG is second but he tends to exaggerate at times. But he's funny. The rest of the analysts are forgettable.

Hot-shooting by the LAKERS, cold-shooting by the DUBS ........ ayun, mukhang delikado ang GSW this game.

Hubie Brown is indeed likeable and old-school ...... but IMO he's an absolute rah-rah boy - lahat ng NBA players ay magaling para sa kanya. Bihira mag-criticize.

I also like JVG, he sees it as it is ..... kapag mali, ay mali. Walang palabok. Mahilig lang magpa-tawa.

Bizarro game :) Classic "playing to the level of the competition" ang GSW kanina. But to the Lakers' credit, they played well on the offensive end and weren't as sloppy as usual.

I think GSW has a lot of home games left so they're still on course to make history. Meanwhile, the Spurs are hanging around, just three games behind...

Off night for the splash bros while the Lakers got it going from long range. Clarkson and Russell were on fire and Huertas played well to orchestrate the offense.

Parang ang tamlay ng Warriors kanina.

Biggest upset in NBA history :D w00t! Hahaha.

Una tinalo ni Nate Diaz si McGregor, tapos tinalo ng UP ang Lady Eagles, ngayon naman tinambakan ng Lakers ang Warriors. Haha!
