Yup. Something like that ;D

If he/she won the game all by his/herself.

literally speaking this is only possible if one person can outscore a team, so i'm sure this is not what you meant(IIRC, Steph has outscored a whole team in a quarter, though I could be wrong).  Parang marami nang cases in point that Steph has won games for his team, quite often than as early as the 3rd qr because he exploded for 20+points in one of the 1st 3 qrs..  If you are trying to refer to close game situations, I think its safe to say that last years playoffs shows that Steph can also step up.

In a sports where teamwork is required there is no such "great player" only best player. That is my opinion and belief.

;D

For me curry is good shooter and maybe best today but the best shooter of all time belongs to Bird :)

I'd put Ray Allen over Bird, shooting wise.

Mukhang yari na ang Bulls, malabo nang makaplayoffs.

Rodney Hood with 30 pts 8 threes in the 1st half against the Lakers   :o

Kaya nga sir there is no great player in basketball para sa akin, kasi para sa akin maari ka lang maging "great" if you do it by yourself. In basketball or any games where teamwork is required, there is only "best player".... Walang "great player" sa basketball. :)

That was insane. Start ng 3rd q dinikitan na ni Kobe. But the rest of the Jazz players kept scoring easy buckets. 48point blowout. Just another disappointing night to a disappointing season.

I like Larry Bird but Curry shoots more accurately and his range is so much more than that of Bird.

Curry is currently the BEST player in the world. If he can continue with this pace for say 3-5 years and winning championships, he can be regarded as one of the greatest. He plays out of this world basketball at the moment but too early to use the word great on him.

So who do you think is a great player in basketball?

Curry is the best offensive player right now.

Kawhi is the best all around player (offense-defense 1-2), lebron is not far behind

KD and Wesbrook, although good and can be great at times, just dont do well on crunch times, so...... up for debate...

Etong next three games ng GSW (@UTA, BOS and POR) ang crucial in their attempt to make NBA history. If they can string up wins in these games, they have a very good chance of at least tying the Bulls' 72-10 record.

Feeling ko masusubukan sila bukas - second game of a B2B, on the road against the Jazz, which is the second best defensive team in the league (next to SAS). GSW won only by 3 points in Utah back in November.

i think they'll break the record, but it may hurt their chances on the playoffs if someone gets injured in the process ... even OKC have started resting their 2 main men ... while the other teams are preparing for the playoffs, GSW is still over extending their top guys

Mukhang priority nila is the record more than the championship or maybe they just think they can achieve both and play each game as it comes.

Havent seen much of their games lately. Hindi ko alam kung maganda naman rotation nila ng players para maipahinga pa din kahit papaano mga key players

Masyadong babad si curry and green, kahit minsan (like last night against the wizards) laki ng lamang at halos bigay na yung game nasa loob pa rin when the 2nd unit can obviously take them home. Sana lang walang mainjure sa kahit kaninong team para maganda playoffs.

I thought that the last 3 Warriors games had a very relaxed, almost lazy vibe. That game against the Mavs in particular was a love-fest. The Mavs punted that one.

Kerr doesn't really rest his players in a Spurs-like fashion. Last year when they clinched the best record, they played at half-speed the rest of the way with fringe rotation guys getting a bit more minutes. The older guys like Bogut and Iggy are probably gonna be used sparingly the rest of the way.

And speaking of rest, sometimes too much rest can also be a negative thing.

Anyone remember the 2004 Pacers?

Quote
It was April of 2004 and the Indiana Pacers, fresh off compiling an NBA-best 61-21 record, had earned the top seed in the Eastern Conference and a first-round matchup with the eighth-seeded Celtics, who limped into the playoffs with a mere 36-46 record in Jim O’Brien‘s final season.

Indiana proceeded to obliterate Boston, sweeping the series in four games with an average margin of victory of 16.8 points, never winning by less than 13. The final of those victories, a 90-75 triumph on April 25 at the FleetCenter, pushed the Pacers through to the conference semifinals, but with a Miami Heat and New Orleans Hornets quarterfinal matchup pushed to seven games, Indiana wouldn’t play again until May 6, a whopping 11-day break.

“We were off for almost two weeks and they actually gave us too many days off,” O’Neal said. “Some guys went on vacation, literally, in the playoffs.”

O’Neal recalled Wednesday how some players trekked down to New Orleans to catch some of the action in person before the Heat finally emerged from the grueling series. If Indiana had been anywhere near as sharp as it should have been, he said, it would have dispatched Miami about as easily as it trounced Boston. Instead, that series went six games and took its toll on the Pacers, who fell to the eventual NBA champion Detroit Pistons in six games in the conference finals.

The nice thing about the warriors is that they already invested in the rest during the season with all the 4th quarter sitouts by the starting 5.  What Kerr is trying to avoid now is complacency, in particular Klay and Steph have been getting beat during backdoor cuts so he's trying to keep the team sharp by maintaining 30 minutes a night. pero sana nga walang mainjure.
