Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Messi, R10, CR7, Neymar, etc. They're best but not great. A great player for me only comes from individual sport events - swimming, athletics, boxing, mma, etc.

I can call Messi a great player if he can win the game all by himself, meaning he is the striker, defender and a goalie.

Simple. For me great is not equal to best when it comes to sports. For me "greatness" only reserved to individual achievement. You achieve something remarkable without the help of others.

Messi achieved that status pero may tulong from his team mates. Di ako namimilosopo nun sinabi ko un about kay messi. If he can win a single match all by himself then i may call him the greatest soccer player of all time. Since he have team mates, he is the just best player today katulad nila CP7.
