NBA definition, not google's: “Flopping” is defined as any physical act that appears to have been intended to cause the referees to call a foul on another player. The primary factor in determining whether a player committed a flop is whether his physical reaction to contact with another player is inconsistent with what would reasonably be expected given the force or direction of the contact.

So kung OA ang reaction, ibig sabihin, LeFlop nga.

I don't think anyone here disputes the fact that he is one of the best players in the NBA right now. What I don't get is how people could defend that acting job as if it were a natural reaction to a very weak looking swipe of an elbow. Even my kid brother who's a Lebron fan boy accuses me of being a hater just because I called out Lebron's Oscar worthy performance as a flop.

Hirap ba aminin na flopper idol nyo? E the evidence is indisputable. ;D

I hate the acting, not the player. At least let's get that straight.

thats true. i guess ganun talaga pag inaapi mga idols just like how fans of kathneil and jadine and aldub are  ;D ;D ;D

Yes bro, hindi naman natin sinasabi na all the time. Malakas talaga yung ibang hits on him. Nakakatawa lang talaga kasi na, gaya nung isang play vs the Mavs back in 2011 ata, ano yun, phantom hit? ;D

To some extent, I don't agree as well. Or yung mga tipo nina Rodman or Stephenson. But this is LBJ we're talking about. Not only is he big and strong, he's a franchise player.

You don't agree that it is wrong and illegal to deceive the officials / promote unsportsmanlike behavior?

I used to think na ok mag-flop, it was a move that only smart players can sell.. kaya lang nung dumadami na, medyo alanganin na rin, nasisira yung mga refs and the game itself.

kung maglalalagay ng replay/review right after a suspected flop, then automatic technical with penalties, siguro wala ng gagawa nun. :)

The thing is, if a big bodied player knows how to use his body to occupy space, kahit kasing tangkad nya bantay nya, aatras at atras yun, kahit wala masyadong force. What more kung maliit yung bantay.

Flopping used to be fun. Lalo kung role players gumagawa (Rodman on Malone). Pang-asar ba.

But if not, and the small player exaggerates the impact by flopping, then that is just as bad as a a big player like Lebron flopping. The size of the player shouldn't matter. Flopping is flopping.

yup meron sa nba. they will review the incident then penalize the player thru fine.
barya lang yung fine for flopping (arnd $5,000) compared sa salary ng superstar (million $), yet it gives the superstar an advantage towards the game kasi nakakuha ng offensive foul by flop, etc.,.
dapat talaga within the game pwede i-review within the game, then penalize the player afterwards, kaso lang ref's calls are always irreversible, atleast almost.

since i started playing basketball, i always thought that flopping is a talent :)

kapag tinawagan ng charge then nice one, kapag blocking then malas at better luck next time. although it's not pro ball i dont see the refs having a problem with it.

Yan ang isang bagay kung bakit naging hater ako ni lebron.i used to be a big fan nung bagong pasok sa nba.but slowly nawala nung lumipat sa miami, slight hater lang ako nun pero naging certified hater nung nag umpisa sya mag flop.flopping is accepatble only to role players, pero if you are considered to be a goat,no no para skin yun.sige nga magsabi kayo kung sino great players or mvp player nag fflop?

Honest to goodness question lang to, lalo na nung game 3 ng cavs-raptors for diehard LeBron fans. What if that game was decided by LeBron's flop? A technical was called against the Raptors, Lebron shoots 2 freethrows then scored a double/triple on the next position, the raptors weren't able to answer back, the clock runs down. Cavs win by 2. Would you celebrate that win?

ung mga fans yes, definitely, pero coaches of either team mukhang hinde, the usual reason kasi is that's just 1 play out of at least 100 possessions sa 1 game..

Talent talaga bro, I saw Kiefer Ravena did it several times, pero ibang case yata ung sa charge, kasi it could go either way nga, pwedeng blocking or offensive foul, so may sugal dun.. Yung sa flop kasi, walang risk na technical or blocking/offensive foul pag ginawa eh..

I remember Pippen during his Bulls days against Magic, ilang beses nya ginawa yun, ang galing..
