Yup, pasikip ng pasikip. I tried to drop by WATT Hi Fi last week, but when I finally found it, he he he, lets just say, it was jam packed...I saw a B&W 650 SW box placed outside just to put more walking space inside he he he... I had to window watch and stare na lang as the group inside listened to some XDs I think....

mga parekuy, yung audio nirvana na yan eh... kanya kanyang definition yan. audio nirvana doesn't necessarily equate to listening to your kind of music thru tube gears. masyadong mahabang usapan yan kung pagtatalunan na naman natin ang pros and cons ng ss at tube gears. what is an undeniable fact is that solid state gears are more natural sounding than tube gears. the mere fact that tube gears are closely associated with sweetness and warmth as its sonic signature would already negate it as a natural or neutral sounding equipment. the only reason why you like tube gears is that they make you feel more relaxed while listening to them but if you really like listening to music the way the musicians sounded when they recorded their pieces, solid state gears would give the most faithful reproduction. kaya, kanya kanya lang yan kung ano ang mas gusto nyong pakinggan....

the fact that it is subjective, it also means that your conclusion on the reasons why people like tube gears is not necessarily true. not all tube amps are warm sounding you know:) heck, tubes are still used in some parts of the chain when music is being recorded through recording studios. some use tubed microphones

but this topic should be dealt on another thread.

anyway hope carlos888 will have the xlo burn in cd available separately, mahal kasi kung bibili ka ng xlo reference ic/speaker cable just to get the cd..hehehe
