Just got a unit from pekspert and still tweaking. This is my first foray in an android-based media player and was contemplating on the minix neo before but at P2,400.00 hey its a good deal. I was able to install VLC and PDF Reader which was main intention for getting this. Tanong ko lang sa may ganitong player if the UI that came with this unit is already XBMC? Or should I still need to install the app? Not really a deal breaker just curious.

Additional question to those who already have it:
Will the VLC play movies encoded in HEVC or 265?

Some units came with XBMC kaya akala ko lahat meron na. Selected few lang pala. But you can install it.

Ah ok. Had already downloaded the xbmc app but not sure if I will still use it. But finally got to log on my google play account. Had done it thru chrome. How do I delete the previous account which I think was used for testing?

I don't have any HEVC files but I don't think kakayanin ito nung Cocoon kasi yung 4K sampler ko na Big Buck Bunny (H.264) naglalag e using MX Player or the default Owl Player since walang video sa VLC (audio lang ang lumalabas). Anyway as I've mentioned I'm just using this for pdf files and old flv files that my other media players will not play.

Kung Android ito, ang mga OS ba nito is the same with mobile phones? So magplug lang ako ng keyboard and does it work like an android mobile phone? Remote? Any feedback as well re playable files and limitations would gladly be appreciated.

Yes it's on android 4.2.2 and I'm using a wireless mouse from cdrking. Haven't found a root yet though.

Sir, will a wireless keyboard and mouse work for this player.. Just received mine and I find it good. Mas Ok if a wireless keyboard and mouse will do.

If the mouse works then the keyboard should probably do so. Haven't tried it though, pinambabasa ko lang kasi mostly ng magazines and e-books yung unit ko and not for surfing.

Question lang po mga sir, i have a cocoon media player he414079 ganito rin po b ung item nio? I received mine as a bday gift but it turns out n may defect i just lost the google playstore after a few days and hindi ko sya mareset. Can somebody help me... thanks

I'm not sure if yours is the same player as mine but based on your product manual you can do a hard reset which says go to the “Settings” menu, and then scroll down to Backup & Reset. Select Factory data reset, and confirm you wish to perform. Haven't tried it though since I've yet to encounter a problem with mine.

it doesn't have any reset in the settings even ung hard reset nya po s likod mamatay lng po ung unit i even try holding it for a minute tas ganun p din po i don't think its a hard reset button. I also read some forum regarding the unit itself dami comment about sa goggle account d raw po kc nadedelete un existing account but thats not my main concern habol ko lng po is malagyan ng goggle play store or mreset ko lng will do. Thanks po.

Subukan mong magdownload nung google playstore app and install mo manually thru your memory card if may slot yung unit mo.

ayaw din po, "app not installed" after ko install. pwede kaya po ung firmware ng HE115020 kasi same naman po sila ng specs although risky kaso i have no choice na din po kc di na raw cover ng warranty sabi nung seller na palitan na daw po kc once, ung unang prob po kc naka safemode ung unit kya pinalitan nila. thank you po again.

it can be set to 1080p output....naka-default lang sya sa 720p..but it can be changed. On the video quality, I can't compare to other media players coz I don't have one. But for me, the picture is better compared when I am using the bulit-in media player of my tv.
