Would have been nice if Ms Colombia was read into the situation and translated and offered the crown it would have relieved the tension on stage.

Malala pa sa pronouncements ni Ms. Germany, are the other ladies did not even behave after the fault of the MC . You will soon hear stories that some european contestants and others clustered around Ms Columbia, Ms Philippines tried to reach out to Ms Columbia, these beauties shooed her away? What's regal about that behaviour? salbahe sila ano? Sadly, in the end, seems kulay pa rin ang tinitignan ng mga ungoy na 'to. SMH

Worse, some even chanted "Colombia, Colombia". asal aba.

OK lang, sige and exhibit their reactions unchecked and be (not act) stupid and be caught on camera. No moment escape at this day and age ano?

Agree. Ms. Colombia couldve shown more class by personally crowning Pia.
as for Ms. Germany - there really was no need to mention that anymore. what a n@z1.

HOWEVER... I can only imagine the state of our nation and Philippine social media if the tables were turned.

Maganda nga yung Filipina (and pang Ms Universe talaga yung beauty) but I wonder how much the online public voting affected the final calculations. I don't think the Colombians can beat the Filipinos sa online voting (which allegedly crashed sa dami ng online public voting). That's the only thing I didn't like (questionable?) about the voting procedure this time although I liked the idea that the fellow contestants' themselves had a say in addition to that of the judges.

maybe miss colombia couldnt remove her crown coz she didnt understand what going on? and pia, she also couldnt move... i think all their movements are restricted... meaning they cant do anything unless instructed to... after crownig pia, i saw she went to miss colombia.. i couldnt see if she was shooed tho... altho parang nag congratulate kay pia are mostly asians.. then yung pumaligid kay miss colombia..mostly caucasians..

dunno if there was such a time that the contestants gather around each other.. last year ba ganun?

anyways.. i still think this is somewhat scripted... for the organizers at least...para pag usapan...

Yun nga ,bro waxx, ang likely sablay ng organizers.they could help the situation That could have saved face. Di nga siguro masyado naintindihan ni Sofia lookalike, o waiting for assistance to free her hand.

Winning answer pa din si Colombia back stage "everything happens for a reason" Problem lang it did not help the other contestant took sides and showed their colors na sobrang unbecoming of a country rep. Ms USA was right beside Pia and was genuinely happy for her. There are other shots na puro asian ang lumapit kay Pia.

I wonder napikon ba sila kasi social media capital of the world tayo and we made the votes to a point na malabong manalo sila kaya asar sila sa atin even without the snafu.

I ask kasi Madami na kasi na "we will fund if you top this contest by social media votes" ngayon which kinda unfair for a smaller country.

20% percent lang naman yung online voting, 80% came from the four judges. so kahit manalo ka online hindi pa rin sure win.

apparently with a lot of help from cosmetic surgeons,
so the barbie doll like beauties that we see are engineered....

that video footage with candidates ignoring Miss Philippines and chanting Colombia was really unsportsmanlike ... on Australia news, Miss Australia mentioned that they saw on the teleprompter showing Miss Philippines take your walk as Miss Universe, that's why some of the candidates were in awe when Miss Colombia was announced as winner

One of my pet peeves about Miss U, is the need for interpreters. Dapat automatic na pag di ka marunong mag English e disqualified ka na. Di ba yung Q&A portion, may mga gaps between what the contestant says whilst the interpreter is translating? Universal language naman ang English e.

Minor thing siguro, pero I think it buys the contestant more time to compose her thoughts which gives her an unfair advantage. Dapat kasama sa 30 second count yung from the time she speaks hanggan sa pag translate.

'worked there before. Mas madami magaganda sa Medellin, kahit street sweeper nilang babae naka-ayos at todo makeup. Normal lang sa kanila ang bust, butt enhancement pati patangos ng ilong. Pumapasok nga sa work, may plaster pa sa ilong, proud na proud kasi mamahalin at pang may kaya lang yun. Sabi din ng friend ko dun, pag debut daw ng mga anak na babae, ang hiling nila na gift sa magulang eh pa-bust enhancement.

Pero in fairness madami talaga magaganda dun, yung natural, mangangawit ang leeg mo kakalingon pag pumupunta ka sa mga mall at gimikan. Kaya lagi din silang higher ranked pag mga beauty pageants.
