I believe this is available in Lazada.

http://www.lazada.com.ph/original-minix-neo-u1-smart-android-tv-box-android-511-lollipopamlogic-s905-quad-core-64bit-xbmc-2g16g-uhd-4k-3d-mini-pc-50gwifi-h265-bluetooth-41-dlna-airplay-miracast-hd-media-player-euplug-5882628.html

It is available indeed. But the issue is it is shipped from abroad. usually it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get here and the very high probability it will get lost due to it high retail value. Unless you will use fedex or DHL. But it will cost around 2k to 3k  + customs tax + vat to send it here.

I am estimating it will cost between 10.5k to 12k gross  if you sent it through DHL or Fedex .

Just get it here locally. Warranty and delivery times will not be a problem.

Ayun nakabili na ako sa Villman Trinoma! Kakatuwa ung UI. Ibang iba na pala mga player now... meron po bang remote apps na pwede magamit for my Minix? Hassle ung included remote..

Di ko din magets ung Kodi na sinasabi. Haha as of now, thru MX Player lang ako nanunuod ng movie :)

Really recommended to buy an A2 Lite remote. For the meantime you can plug in a mouse to make it easier to navigate the menus. You can also download the minix remote control app for android phones:

Actually you will not have the hassles you described if you buy through Lazada. They will take care of it for you. You just complete the purchase and wait for delivery at your specified delivery address. Mahaba nga lang waiting time - up to a month. I've done it several times.

The problem with buying the U1 thru Lazada is that it's more expensive than buying at the local stores.

Is there an app on our android Phones so that we can use our phone as remote control for the Minix?

I finally bought the Minix U1, my question relates to the HDMI cable, since what is included in the box is too short for what I need, I want to purchase a replacement. My question is there is an HDMI 1.4 two meters that I saw being sold and I'm afraid that that version is not compatible or would affect playablity of some files (h.265 video movies), is it really required to purchase an HDMI 2.0 cable? Where can I buy such cable?

Cardinal Audio 3rd floor V-Mall Greenhills has HDMI 2 cables. I just bought a 1.8 meter for 1,300 earlier. Is your TV a 4k TV?

Ethernet and Wi-Fi cannot work simultaneously.

You may utilize the software Ethernet switch we have introduced in FW005 so that you don't have to unplug the cable.
Thanks.

Minix u1 wifi won't turn on

@shoestrings, if you can wait Minix is releasing a Neo 9-H, which could be better than U1. But I do not know when it would be available here in the Philippines. Just google it

I have an iPega PG-9028 bluetooth controller. It's my son who uses it for classic games and he's very satisfied with it.

@reynold, FW 11 solves some issues (which I have not experienced) and not much different from FW 10
