This is a stupid question:

What is the power consumption of 320bee?

Another stupid question:

If paired with mission m72i, what speaker cables will you guys recommend?

is this going to be a barewire vs banana plug debate?

It's not like he has expensive speakers, m7x series are just entry level speakers naman eh. I don't start using better cables and connectors until atleast mid level ng mid- fi.

Plus, you know the endless debate naman siguro about bare wire vs connectors. One side believes that connectors are oh som important, the other side believes otherwise.

medyo OT to ha but i just would like to know, what type of speakers/brands are categorized as (kasalanan to ni grestbop kaya ako napa-isip):

1. entry level

2. mid level

3. high end.

sana mapagbigyan munti kung tanong.

depends on your wallet really. but i would rather classify it this way:

[0 - 5,000]

[5,001 - 10,000]

[10,000 - 30,000]

etc... you get my drift? cheap speakers need not be called entry level - because that precludes that there are better speakers.

BUT WHAT IF for you they are the best sounding speakers you have heard, and consider yourself to be in audio nirvana??? does that mean you are not an audiophile because you have "entry level" gear and must upgrade?? not for me  ;)

you want to classify objectively, lets use measurable parameters: like price, weight, volume, etc..

thats me  ;D

If you have to stratify speakers into those 3 layers, you'd find out that many speakers will fall in each depending on the manufacturer's own categorization, not to mention consumer perception.  Entry levels for  B&Ws  and Sonus Fabers can fall below the P50T price point.   While entry levels for Wharfedales and Missions fall below the 15T mark.   For mid-level, boy, you have almost the whole range of differing series depending on the manufacturer.  All the way to the high end which can start above 350T for the B&W 800 series to the P1.4M  Martin Logans and some other unheard of brands.

For some audiophiles, entry levels are below 100T.  Hi end, above 500T.  And in between are mid-levels.  And for others, anything above 100T is hi-end.  So there's really no hard classification.  I used to classify them before in about the same manner. But it's kinda useless and defeating. These days,  I couldn't care less what those classifications mean, as long as listening to what I bought makes my hair stand on end.  ;D

Now a days it is hard to classify which is High or Mid or Entry level.....cause manufacturer resort to different series according to the target market they are approaching....but definitely the sound of most High end level is still uncomparable with the entry or mid of some manufacturer. There are some exception..just in the case of of Klipsch...their mid range level of Synergy SF-2 can be compared with brand B## mid range and brand J## high-end level.

Mas mura pa lumalabas yun Synergy

Yup, the high-end level of one brand could be comparable to the entry-level or mid-level of another brand.

Bro, you can use banana plugs by removing the plastic cover at the back of the speaker terminals. there are no brands for such, just drop by at any AV shops. It costs around 60-75 pesos each

Are you referring to the pre-out/main-in jumpers at the back of receivers/integrateds?

If so, any RCA cable will do.  Though I once used a gauge 10 or 12 solid copper (can't recall exactly), cut into 2-inch lengths and bent into u-shapes to connect the pre-out-main-in.
