Active Sub issue...need advice?
« on: Jan 25, 2016 at 12:02 AM »
My Diamond SW100 just died on me today.

Short story : At first sign of issue when I turn on my A/V set the sub turns on automatically, but in some weird instance it turns it self off and turns back on again and stays on. But now only the red LED on the back turns on but the green LED at the front wont and there is no sound coming from it anymore. What seems to be the problem?

Did you try changing cables to determine if signal is being received by the sub?

Try mo din increasing the sub level at the receiver, maybe the level is just too low to activate the SW100's auto on circuit.

You may also try plugging a source (CD player, etc) directly to the sub input to isolate if the problem is with your receiver sub out or the sub itself.
